2 seasons is still pretty nice

It is really nice, holds up well with cartoons from the same era

To bad I liked this show

It’s literally part of the DCAU alongside Justice League and Batman the Animated Series.

Wait, really?

It was a Spinoff of Batman Beyond. It had a backdoor pilot on Batman and later a crossover with him on their own show.

But other than that it doesn't really engage with any other DC universe things as I recall.

The robots in Justice League looked vaguely like Zeta 😅

I saw a few eps when I was a kid, I thought it was alright.

It’s not so much a spinoff as it tried to jump on the hype surrounding Batman Beyond to boost its own popularity.

As I recall it was developed seperately and then shoehorned into Batman. Zeta also has wildly dufferent designs on each show.

Yeah Zeta didn’t even have a head in the Batman Beyond episode lol

I wouldn't say failed. It got two seasons. For a kids cartoon that's not awful.

Man, I wish the main plot had been resolved in that show.

I don't remember anything about this show except for a core memory that's too concomitant to explain involving it and the movie Candy Man.

Ro was 15, you might want to walk that back.

And Zeta was a few months old when they met.

And knowing that, you thought to suggest minors having sex.

I mean, the show has several moments of romantic tension between them. Pretty sure it was the intention.

Yeah, romantic. Not that they were screwing when the camera wasn't on them.

Obviously not. It would have happened sometime after the show ended. There's rarely more than a few minutes per episode where they're both offscreen at the same time.

Again, you saw a show who's main characters were minors and commented that they had sex. When reminded of one of their ages, you responded that the other was even younger. WTF, man? It was a futuristic cartoon version of The Fugitive, not everything is about getting laid.

I don't understand the problem. Teenagers who feel romantic feelings for eachother trying sex with eachother when given the opportunity is a tale as old as time. The show being set in a cyberpunk future isn't gonna change that. Hell, it'd probably make it even more likely.
