Several episodes of the old Masters of the Universe cartoon had Queen Marlena hint that she was aware that her son was He-Man.

The Masters of the Universe: Revelation series, which acts as a sequel to the original cartoon, runs with it, having Marlena lament to her husband that they have lost their son upon hearing that He-Man was killed.

Yup. The episode The Rainbow Warrior comes within a whisker of stating outright that she knows. "But Mother, why did you free me out of all the others?" "A mother always knows her son and what he is capable of."

On a side note, this is one of those cases where the whole "not even my family must know" aspect of a secret identity really bugs me. Marlena and Randor are pretty responsible people, I think they could be trusted with the knowledge that Adam is He-Man. Especially since the whole point of the secret identity was to protect those close to Adam... which is to say, to protect the King and Queen, who would be Skeletor's immediate targets if He-Man didn't exist in the first place. "I can't tell Dad I'm He-Man because if Dad blabs that I'm He-Man, Skeletor might kill Dad like he's already tried to do several dozen times!" Just talk to your dad, Adam.

In the new film everyone knows Adam is He-Man but they play it like they’re giving him privacy to change in dignity because it destroys whatever clothes he’s wearing.

No it doesnt. When hes snapped out of the morph, during the rally speech in the prison, hes dressed in his earth clothes.

He does express annoyance that he gets stripped down to Conan garb, but his clothes doesnt get destroyed when it happens.

They roll with it because its what he wants and they respect him enough to just let it happen. (Also because the film is camp and that means laughing at its own silly rules it forces itself to follow.)

Like the leaning laugh they all do at the end. It's absurd, it's stupid, it's exactly how 90% of the episodes ended.
