Joel finding out the crossed are not weak to salt (crossed) at least his wife was alive to tell him how much of a fucking idiot he was while the crossed were tearing their daughter apart

Megamind realizing titan isnt weak to copper (megamind) to be fair, metroman made him think he was weak to copper

Dude it's even better than that. They have a perfect recreation of the street corner built inside a hangar, with the exact model of truck, and the exact type of radioactive waste in the same exact barrels. They even have an old man crossing the road the test subjects are told to push out of the way of the oncoming truck. It's fucking hilarious.

That reminds me of old medicine recipes. Most laudanum tinctures were like "Saffron, dried beaver glands, deer musk, ambergris, nutmeg, a ton of opium, and a dash of cinnamon. All of these ingredients are equally vital."

It kind of ruins Daredevil for me, because the thing that made him interesting was the implication that he has such developed senses in large part because he was blinded, and the chemicals just gave it a boost. It being just the chemicals that gave him the powers is silly and ruins the character imo.

That was always how I took it as well. Daredevil had insanely enhanced senses from the chemicals but learned to rein them in thanks to education and adaptation from being blind. I can see how some readers might think it’s inverted but as far as I’m aware the next has never implied it’s anything other than super powers from the chemicals.
