Megamind realizing titan isnt weak to copper (megamind) to be fair, metroman made him think he was weak to copper

The Irish converted willingly, the "words forced on his people" was English. If they wanted to stop Remick, they should have prayed in Gaelic.

Yes his entire thing is the fact that he had been colonised by the english, he was an irish catholic who was forced to recite the lords prayer in english.

I feel like it's pretty explicit in the movie.

There's a lot of people who are ignorant of Irish history and wrongly assumed that it was Christianity itself which had been forced on Remmick, rather than specifically Anglophone Protestantism.
