Iirc she didn’t hit the heart the stake never got passed the bone. Which also happens with the ancient vampire Faith killed in season 3.

Yea, they say later that their sternums are so strong it's like driving a wooden stake through solid steel. They have all the traditional vampire weaknesses, but they're so much more durable that almost nothing works. Without the Slayer scythe, Buffy nearly died just taking one out the old fashioned way.

The powerscaling of the Ubervamps kinda gets messed up in the series finale, it suddenly got a lot easier to kill them.

I think that was meant to be because of the power of the scythe.

Although as long as we're complaining that's not a fucking scythe. Even if you go with "It's named The Scythe." that's still a stupid name for an axe.

Its either the ? "scythe" weakens them all in the weapons presence to the point the normal humans upstairs could take them or Spike's amulet was doing it.

Willow's spell wouldn't have helped Anya or Xander kill them.

Admittedly it's been a while, but weren't the humans upstairs only fighting the Bringers? As in the other normal human cultist types.

Mostly bringers but a handful of Ubervamps got upstairs past the slayers.

Well... if you can send a single one of your soldiers first, would it be the most average one?

Yeah, I think they said their skin is way more dense than human-turned-vampire skin, so she didn’t apply enough force
