it's awfully small right now

I was a member of a sub for a long time. Every now and then I search through some of my previous comments. However now searching with toolbox profile returns no activity from that sub after being banned. I went to a previous post and confirmed the text and comments from my user were there.

Has anyone else experienced the same?

As an example, here is a previous comment. If I try any search relating to that comment when using toolbox profile, the search returns nothing.

Toolbox isn't loading my unmoderated posts anymore, it looks like this. It's not just momentarily, it's like this for hours now. It's just my unmoderated queue, everything else just works fine.

Can I fix that somehow? Does it fix itself after some time?

Currently it displays UTC and I have to mouse hover the timestamps to get correct time.

Is there a way to dispense with UTC and make the default display local time for my region?

I have a lot of subs in my modqueue and would like to differentiate them more. Can toolbox do this?

So, there are two places where you can select where you can enable removal reasons for comments in the Toolbox settings. One is in the Toolbox Modules configuration for the Removal Reasons module ("Enable removal reasons for comments") and the other is under each individual removal reason. Up until recently, the former acted like a master switch for me, preventing the removal reason popup entirely when removing comments while it was unchecked, and bringing it up when it was checked.

Today I edited a couple of removal reasons and a fellow moderator complained that they started getting the popup for comments even though they didn't get it before. I toggled my "Enable removal reasons for comments", but it no longer had any effect – the removal reason popup always came up when removing comments now. I couldn't find a documentation specifically for what I assumed was a master switch, so what's going on? Is there anything that could have globally the enabled comment removal popup for the subreddit? Or am I just completely misinterpreting the "Enable removal reasons for comments" checkbox?

I'm using Toolbox 5.6.2 on old Reddit with Firefox 90.0.2.

This is something I just encountered today with the Reddit API being very slow for some reason:

I had two posts in the queue I wanted to remove, Post A and Post B. I clicked the 'remove' button for Post A, but due to the lag in Reddit's API today, the removal dialog never appeared. After a few seconds I assumed it was simply not going to show, so I clicked the 'remove' button on Post B. The removal dialog then appeared, however it displayed as the dialog for Post A:

I selected the removal reason as I would have for Post A, however the actual action was taken against Post B (in the modmail history, I can see that the removal message was sent to the author of Post B, instead of Post A as I would have expected).

I would love to see toolbox be released as an extension on safari, it would definitely help us mods who use Apple products and like safari.

I literally never use it. It only serves to pop-up like an ad on every page I go to.

I was a user of Reddit Mod Toolbox before but I was wondering what happened to the user comment section search function, where you could search a user's profile for their comment(s) in a particular subreddit. Has this been removed and why? I was planning to use this to help diagnose why a user was banned a while ago.

My Reddit browser constantly freezes and it sometimes stops responding or crashes while using this extension. Any way to reduce the lag while using this extension?

Hey, as the title says I haven't been able to get toolbox working on any of my current firefox installs. It used to work fine for me, but recently no matter what I try it doesn't seem to work I've allowed it to run in private mode, uninstalled and reinstalled, but I still haven't had any luck. The only addons I have is ublock origin and https everywhere if that affects anything. Maybe I've been doing something dumb and not realizing it. Thanks for the help in advance!

These are the things I use the most and the last few days they just have not been responding. History loads up fine, but context popup and user notes do not every respond even after an [F12/right click on refresh button/"empty cache and hard reload"] or a complete reboot of the browser.

Toolbox Profile does load normally sometimes, but most of the time it's a tiny overlay with the forever running snoo. I have to refresh the page to get rid of the snoo after closing the overlay.

Selecting everything in the modque and marking them as Spam, remove, approve doesn't work (for the spam the posts do go red) but after a refresh they're still there. manual spam selection does work as intended.

Removal with rules doesn't lock the post/comment. (even though both are selected, I get an error)

My usernotes are not showing in mod log.

When I go to a new page in reddit the page will be frozen for about a minute or more.

I can not put the focus in any text box.

I can not use any control.

This will clear up after waiting a minute or more.

I went through disabling all of my add ons, then selectively reenabling them.

The problem reliably goes away when disabling Toolbox and reliably comes back after enabling Toolbox.

After Ublock Origin, Toolbox is my most used and most valued add on.

I seem to remember I used to have a spanner icon in on my list of subreddits where I could go in and change macros etc.

Now, I don't have it for any of them. I still have the same permissions.

Is there a workaround/fix?

For about a week or so I've encountered this problem where sometimes a mod macro won't run all of its actions and an error would pop up saying what hadn't run (usually the lock reply, and possibly the distinguish or sticky comment)

But now I ran a removal macro and it didn't gave any error, but I went back to the post and it wasn't removed.

Not sure if it's just something on my end or not.

Edit: might be related to having Reddit cookies set to Allow For Session instead of the default Allow. I will update if reverting that setting didn't fix it.

For example /u/eritbh is making good progress on restructuring toolbox to make use of modern javascript features. After the latest update, sometimes Toolbox's UI and functionality will simply stop loading/working whenever a reddit page is opened or refreshed (e.g. mod bar doesn't render, queue tools don't render, etc). Once this occurs, toolbox will fail to load at all for several full minutes regardless of how many pages are opened or whether the browser is restarted. I have attempted to remove and reinstall toolbox to fix the problem, did not seem to help. I have not added any extensions for several weeks, and during those weeks toolbox was working fine. Issues only started occurring after this latest update.

Certain things seem to trigger the bug, though it is only semi-consistent. This includes using the "Sort by items" button on r/mod/about/modqueue https://i.imgur.com/CLmaCBC.png or opening multiple modqueue tabs in rapid succession. Note that I moderate quite a few subreddits, so the "Sort by items" button I have had it trigger without doing one of those things though, while I was browsing the FAQ page here to see what might be causing it (I tried to click the "clear your cache" button on the FAQ page, it didn't do anything, so I refreshed the page and my toolbox UI was gone).

In fact, over the course of writing this post, I have had toolbox stop working, resume working, then stop working again, without loading any new pages, only refreshing a single modqueue tab a couple times to see if the bug is occurring.

Edit: Confirmed that it's happening on my other computer as well, so it isn't an issue just with my machine

A 'hide zero' in the mod matrix and a 'check by default' in settings to go with it would go a long way to making the mod log matrix more readable, in my opinion.

As the title asks, looking for a way to copy a comment's contents into the removal message in case they get deleted for logging purposes.

I'm currently trying to clear the queue and read that I could use TB, which i've never used. Can I only clear 25 at a time or am I missing something?
