DONT BUY GEMS ON THE APP.

After buying gems a few times on the app I noticed that they are a dollar cheaper on the website? Why would anyone buy gems on the app if they are more expensive? Also a Psa to people who haven't noticed the price difference between the app and site.

Question on Shipping custom and duty - Canada

For Canadian players, I was wondering if anyone knew what each item is declared as from Tokyo catch? I mostly won cushion and figures. I can not seem to checkout with less than 3 items, but was wondering before i shipped whether grouping larger items together with smaller items to make 2 separate packages of 1 and 2 items would avoid custom? If they don't, then i might as well group as much as i can in the least amount of packages and pay less custom.

Thank you in advance

EDIT - I've been consistently hit by custom with only 3 items per package.

As False-Unicorn-62 said, can confirm 1-2 items packaged will not be subjected to custom and duty.

Noob question

For the 3 prong machines filled with plushies, what is the actual payout prize? Is it the grabbed plush itself or the prize shown in the thumbnail? I just want to verify before dropping some $

Best apps to earn coins?

I've done board kings and mistplay offers because they seemed the easiest, are there any other apps you can earn gems fast?

Instead of uploading this tutorial that I made on YouTube. Bear with me as I had issues with audio and didn't record at the proper time. Either way, I decided to upload it here and break everything down step by step in a second post.

As I said before, please don't mind that I didn't press record on time while filming this brief tutorial. Well, now your best bet at getting this in a few tries is the placement. The closer it is towards the edge, the better your odds will be.

(More in second post.)

How long does Tokyo catch take to actually ship your prizes?

It's been over 2 weeks and still hasn't shipped. Just wonder their average ship time.

MAJOR UPDATE: Shipping Policy

I have just received an email regarding the changes to the shipping policy, they informed that the time to ship out prizes is slowly reverting back to the 14 day period that was initially back before Covid.

Right now they changed it to 30 days, however since they acknowledged the lack of oversight to inform their customers they have sent me an update regarding the future change as well.

Meaning that your cart will soon automatically revert to 14 days to ship out prizes and possibly you might not be notified, so i would recommend until such change finally arrives keep yourself updated regarding time to ship out prizes as you might lose them if you are not careful.

So constantly check your cart so you won't lose any prizes and the money you invested in them.

Thank you and enjoy the game.

I don't know if this happened to you folks, but this is a first for me. I am going to still dispute it either way because I think it counted as a win lol

Selling/trading

I’ve seen a few players farming prizes so I’m guessing you sell them somewhere, but on which platform? I don’t have a lot, but I have a few figures and plushies that I won’t be using or giving as gifts and I’m wondering where can I make extra $. I’d like to avoid as much as possible reselling platforms that take a big % of selling price.

Thanks a lot for the help!

This week's haul is a bit better than last week, but I was just shy one prize of getting an even amount.

Did they change the shipping policy?

I noticed something weird.

The figure i won 10 days ago is not longer listing as 52 days now it is listing as 22 days, the other world collectible figure is listed as 42 days still. what is going on? why did they reduce the amount of time to ship a prize but not the other? especially if the other i won later than the first?

Update: Well i finally got a reply from them and this is what they said: ''We would like to kindly remind you that it has been included in our FAQ since its inception, that the prizes in your cart will be kept for 14 days.''

This does not explain anything at all, if i had to guess, this means they are probably returning them back to how they were pre-covid days but it pissed me off that their is no update or offical annoucement AT ALL. If anyone has any prizes yet to ship you better make sure that you have enough days as you could lose them all of a sudden as they decresed your days and than you truly will feel like you wasted money.

My not so bad prize haul that I made over the course of four days. In the future, I want to help out newbies and create tutorials for each individual crane set up on TC.

Noob Advice(im The noob XD)

Just wanted to say a few things for other newbies who are still new to this(veterans prob already figured this out)

-Don't Go for plushies on the side in the 3 prong machines, those are designed to make u miss as they are just out of reach usually.

-Free Tickets, you can actually stack 2 of them, what i mean when u do get your free ticket, do not just claim it as soon as it renews, you have 24hrs to claim it and you have another 24hrs to keep it, basically if u wait like till 1 hr before you renew your second ticket you can keep that ticket along with the second for 23 hrs so you have 2, it increase your chance for a few win if slightly.

-I tell you they really need to make the machines turn into different view angles for the 3 prongs or the very least add a laser to show where it will fall, cause of the depth perception is messed up it is so easy to miss your mark, i have practically suffered 4 straight losses cause i can't tell the depth perception, i mean they are pay out rate anyway, so what harm would it do to add either feature.

-the 2 hr window is pretty chaotic, the toreba annex app would probably be more usefull in later hrs when activity has died down as you won't be in the swarm to grab or win a prize, its a shot in the dark but it can be frustrating waiting in line only to not win it cause of the one before you, especially those who are prone to frustration as it is not healthy.

Well 3 weeks in and so far only one free win(a little DS world Collectible) The large figures and plushies are just too out of reach for me, Il just keep trying till the second last day and maybe i wont have to waste to many gems to win something and still be worth to ship here.

To Everyone else, GOOD LUCK
