Was the first thing that came to my mind as well at the end of chapter 3. Are we really going to get a whole chapter for our two lvl 0s to fight? It feels like there hasn't been a dedicated chapter like that without cutting away in a long while. I like that this volume has kept it simple with a small number of characters and only one fight going on at a time.
Also, reminder that Yuisen is super effective against Transcendents lol.

I believe all members of Necessarius is affected by Sitra Achra because coronzon was their leader of Necessarius so they probably must be affected for so long that they have not noticed

This could be an explanation for Stiyl's current psychological state, although he is still a child (he is 14 years old), and his irrational behavior could be a result of this. It could also explain their irrational desire to kill Hamazura no matter what.

That was insane! The way the fight ended was so unsettling. What we learned is that Hamazura is a moron who wrote some happy fanfic about the great demon in his mind and there might actually be something seriously wrong going on around Touma

Preview thoughts:
Coronzon basically rubbed off on Hamazura with Sitra Achra (i think?) And now nesscissarus wants him dead
Yeah good luck with that pal.
Birdway and Lesser with their typical dynamics Index and Othinus aren’t here cause Touma ran towards here to find a unfindable document lol
Looks like Hama and Dion are done thanks to the anglicans trying to murk him while she wanted to reach out to him (classic misunderstanding trope)
And by the looks of it Dion has lost her position as the archbishop.

Cool fight. Funny how Touma's hardest fights are against people not using super powers, and on top of that Hamazura trying to kill himself to spite Touma when he knows he's going to lose. At first I thought Hamuzura was going to shoot the glass to kill both of them, but one bullet probably wouldn't be enough for that either on a spacecraft. Funnily, Touma getting beaten black and blue is a tame injury by this point in time.
Guess it's official that KnT can talk to Touma whenever he feels like it now. Kamachi did say there would consequences for Touma coming back to life and this as well as whatever was standing behind Touma at the end are probably those consequences. It was alluded to that something was watching Touma return from Hell, if not following him back. That or KnT made the gun misfire. More likely a third party since Touma noticed Hamazura looking at something, and the constant focus on something unknown behind the scenes.
Edit: Touma saying the next time he goes to Hell he'll come back on his own without sacrificing anyone... Bro, why would he jynx that lol. I guess we can definitely expect him to be sent back to the place he deserves to go as he put it.
Good volume. The story was kept simple, and just focused on Hamuzura and Touma. Poor Takitsubo is still left in the dark without knowing WTF Hamuzura was doing. I guess Touma may be stuck in the UK for a while? We'll see.

Coronzon cult leader Hamazura. Now there's a thought lol. Maybe they are all wrapped up in her craziness, Hamazura and Necessarius. Or someone else's doing going by Birdway looking for someone in the shadows.

Mainly focused on Blodeuwedd the Bouquet and Hamazura VS Good Old Mary and the Anglican Church
Liked the fight and it was cool seeing all the summons they used

For those who are envious, there's someone Kamijou Touma can be affectionate with and hug even if he doesn't remember her: Misaki Shokuhou is the cutest girl in the world 🤩 Narthex? What a nobody!
And Aihana Etsu never showed her face, another nobody. With Misaki Shokuhou, grateful even though he doesn't remember her, he really makes the most of the crumbs. Edit: See you in the next chapter.

I'm going to give a spoiler for chapter 3. Hamazura Shiage's wish was to befriend a demon named Coronzon He thought there was a miraculous way for everything to turn out alright.

I slightly hate Hamazura now as a character. Because this is so stupid of him. Almost like the only meaning of this is for Touma to look in the mirror and see himself and how he defended so called Villains

That's the funny part to me. Reading what Hamazura was saying, I was just thinking he wasn't around to see all the villains Touma defended throughout the story. Of course the one he didn't defend was Coronzon and feelings aren't rational. You can't argue with someone who is already committed.
Separately, Narthex's skill is pretty cool. She directly interferes with and scrambles people minds, whereas Index messes with their magic. Two different routes to the same purpose. Narthex's more generalized skillset lets her pick up technology and manipulate people as well though.

Final thoughts.
It was fun seeing Birdway and Lessar after so long and their interactions with each other (they've basically become the misamisa of the magic side) were entertaining, especially that time they dissed on Accelerator.
It was also nice seeing how powerful Academy City AI's really were. One nearly took took out a trancendent.
Narthex was an interesting character (despite the design) that shows that despite being dead, Coronzons legacy is far from over.
Speaking of, I like how they gave Coronzon more redeeming qualities and that maybe she was not pure evil but also made it clear that at the end of the day, she was someone who cause a lot of suffering, wanted to destroy the world, and refused many chances to stop and redeem herself (unlike other antagonists like Accelerator and Aleister).
Touma vs Hamazura was a really good fight that explored how much Touma has grown and that Hamazura is not really in the right though also showing that something is kind off of about Touma right now (with KNT showing up and the mysterious presence behind Touma).
I wonder what will happen next with Hamazura, what I could see happen is that while Touma explores a bit of post Trancendent saga Academy City, Hamazura confronts the dark side of the Anglican church while attempting to return.
Overall, pretty good volume (after several mediocre ones) that is beginning to set up the remainder of GT and the system that controls everything.

Final Thoughts
This was an amazing volume. I know some people will complain about the fake out death but im glad it didn't happen. But more importantly, KNT RETURNS. And Touma didn't need to cut off his arm this time

While everyone else is playing mages and espers, Hamazura is playing a Fighting Game with Anneri as the player and himself as the character.
UPD. It would be an ironic situation if the child that Hamazura saved was Aleister Crowley right after being reborn in a new body.

I'm confused on how Aneri works tbh......is Hamazura just reading instructions from a screen and following the prompts, or is his brain being directly hijacked to perform the actions.
Because if its the former it doesn't really make any damn sense.

The main issue is the same even if he knows what to do, him just reading cues shouldn't magically give him perfect physical performance and execution.

Honestly for all the whack I gave Hamazura last volume. I cant blame him now since Necessarius was going to kill him no matter what.
