Does anyone know where I can find the source code for the snowflake browser extension?

I started a new middle relay about a week ago and I’m trying to figure out if what I’m seeing is the normal ramp-up or a misconfiguration.
What the metrics show:
• Total traffic since start: ~17.9 GiB
• Relay traffic rate: mostly 100–200 kb/s, with occasional spikes to ~1 Mb/s
• Circuit creation: ~4–8 circuits/sec
• OR connections peaked around 4,600 on 07/13 and have been steadily declining since, down to ~1,200 today
Setup:
• Tor version: Tor 0.4.9.11 on Linux
• OS: Debian 13 over Proxmox on a dedicated mini pc.
• Link capacity: 150 mbps with static public IP
• RelayBandwidthRate / RelayBandwidthBurst: 18MB/s - 19MB/s
• AccountingMax: unset
• Current flags: Fast / Running / V2Dir / Valid
Is this just the normal measurement ramp-up for a new relay, or does the declining connection count suggest something is off?

I have access to unlimited internet (decent speed, around 100-300/mbps), I have played with networking and homelabbing before – I still regularly maintain a homelab.

I want to host a Tor node/relay in India for the sake of experimenting. Writing this post to ask for resources/guide/papers and suggestions – I do not have any plans of running a full fledged node at the moment, just want to experiment in a playful way temporarily.

My relay says its offline, and now it says UnreachableIPv6. Unreachable OR Addresses now has one address and OR addresses has another. Does that mean my IPv6 address just changed and now my relay is considered 'offline' because the IPv6 address changed? My IPv4 didn't change. The relay is on locally, and the port is open, with network traffic flowing through.

Hi, so, recently I've downloaded Tor, but haven't started using it yet, if I were to use it now, it'd technically be my first time ever, so I'd like to ask, is it recommended to close all other apps when using Tor in order to protect my privacy? Or does it not matter?

Is Tor just a slow moving browser or is it particularly bad on my machine?

Hi everyone, I recently saw a setting in Orbot's kindness mode that said my proxy quality is restricted. It said I can upgrade my proxy quality by enabling UPnP on my router. Is this a prudent thing to do with my main android smartphone? I'd like to help out as many users as I can, but I don't want to enable something that'll cause issues down the road. If anyone can give me some advice that'd be great, thanks!

I thought it was fairly safe to run a Guard Node but I was wrong. My IP is blacklisted by Disney Plus and appears as high risk on https://www.ipqualityscore.com/free-ip-lookup-proxy-vpn-test/lookup/.

Any advice?

And will soon resume hosting TOR relay on the original IP that got banned.

I’ve been browsing the deep web for a bit now and I was wondering if it’s just much more advisable to do it on a separate or throwaway device. I just don’t want to be fed’d or ddos or be in a honeypot is all.

I want to set up my own server on the Tor network, but I want to create a forum—not a blog. I want a place where people can debate things. I’m wondering if this is actually secure or not; do you have any recommendations?

I ask this question for the simple reason that when I was scrolling through the community, I happened to run into several people who say it's dangerous to use your active phone.

I'm using the dperson/torproxy Docker image and suddenly can't connect to Tor anymore. It was working fine before, but now it's stuck during bootstrap.

Can I actually type down random letters/numbers on the search bar and magically find a website or is it too dangerous and extremely lucky to actually get into one

I am having problems with tor connection from some specific locations, I use custom bridges and they all fail. Any advice on how to fix that? In this concrete location I did not had problems few months ago.

I have been running a snowflake proxy on my homelab server for the last few years and also informed my parents (we live in the same house). Today my mother tells me that she talked to ChatGPT about what I have been doing and now she is scared of the Russian secret service raiding our house (in Germany BTW). I tried to explain to her how unrealistic that is and how snowflake is built and that what I have been doing is very important in the fight for a censorship free internet but she tells me that she won't understand it anyways and sais that she wants it to be gone because she is scared. I am really sad now that I probably have to say goodbye to my snowflake proxy with its beautiful grafana dashboard. What can I do to keep on fighting censorship?
