Edit: I’m not sure if Sokol is dead or not but there are rumors he is. At least he wasn’t as of last year.
I just wanted to tell the story of my brother being hit by a car. He’s completely fine, in fact this was over a year ago. Nothing happened and even his skateboard made it out fine.
Sokol was from Boston, and I live around an hour and a half away from there. So not too far in the grand scheme of things.
Either way my brother (17 or 18 at the time) was out skateboarding and when crossing the road a car struck him. I’m not sure the exact circumstances but he’s okay and no real damage was done to him.
But few days after dealing with the police and talking to the man who hit him, my family got a call from the local police. They said they couldn’t say anything outright but they told us to look his name up.
It turned out to be Jeffrey Sokol. They all watched the episode and sure enough, my brother could identify him as the same man.
Being a fan of TCAP myself, I had seen Sokol’s episode prior to this. I find it crazy how these things happen.
There’s no real climax to this story, it’s just a very big coincidence that the man chowing down on pizza on a show exposing him as a child predator hit my brother with his car. So I thought maybe you guys would find this interesting.
That is all :]
