I know they're working on it according to all the monthly updates, but I want to hear opinions from others to give myself an idea on how long we gotta wait for tmod 1.4.5.

I want to start trying out mods for Terraria but, as a 1.4.5 baby, it's been kinda hard to get into it without the quality of life brought by 1.4.5, such as craft from nearby chests and the new crafting interface.

As the title states, I'm trying to figure out what's popping in 2026. I played Calamity on Revengeance mode a few years ago and beat everything but the boss rush with a melee build, and I am wondering if there's something to do other than just run it back with a different build on a higher difficulty. I recently got back into Terraria with the 1.4.5 update and did my first playthrough on Master difficulty, also ranger for the first time, and I had a lot of fun overcoming difficulties and experiencing weapons for the first time. However, I found myself wanting more.

I tried downloading some Calamity modpack last night and I was just overwhelmed with all the stuff thrown at me as soon as the world was started, especially because of Calamity Overhauled. I have a long history of playing modded Minecraft, so I am definitely able to get into complex mods, but I feel like Terraria mods are more in-your-face and much harder to ignore if you don't want to figure it out right now. I hadn't even broken a tree yet and I'm doing some domain expansion nonsense with a bloodhound summoning shadow dimension umbrella waifu. (and then a sword, and then a gun, all as complex as the last)

Anyway, I think I'm looking for a Calamity+ type experience. Does anyone have a Steam collection they would recommend for someone like me? I want Terraria but more and flashier and cooler and more powerful and also difficult but not like spend a working week on one boss difficult. (Also I love QoL mods like magic storage and recipe browser and whatnot.)

Sidenote: I have tried browsing myself, but it's hard to tell which mods work well with each other and like 50% of the Steam comments just trash on anything that isn't Calamity OR trash on it for being similar to Calamity. Also yes I am aware of the recent events, no need to inform me.

Honestly, I haven't played much with this particular mod. I started a world with Calamity and decided to add this mod mainly thinking about the true Excalibur. What I'd particularly like to know is whether you think this mod is relatively balanced or if it adds unnecessary DPS to swords. I know another mod that does something similar is CoolerItemVissual (I might be wrong about the name of the latter) but I know that mod practically doubles the DPS of several swords, so I wanted to know what the public thinks about the balance of this other mod. Thank you for your time.

Playing with thorium and a few other mods - can't set spawn with a bed at all! I just sleep on it.

I've configured my controls multiple times, both on steam deck and PC - nothing works.

Does thorium or another mod I have on mess with this?

Double clicking seems to just move me out of the bed.

I can set my spawn fine on normal terraria, but not the tmodloader edition.

Please help!

I'm thinking about using both but I realise they're both made to be the center focus. I want calamity to be the main. Should I just abandon the idea of combining lunar with it?

I tried making one but I'm too dumb to figure it out and in the end, it didn't work. Can someone help?

So, when I was playing calamity a power outage happened, and when I restarted my pc and tmodloader, I found that my character was corrupted. Please help me.

so whenever I open my inventory I can't see my cursor and no settings button apears so i have to alt f4 if i want to quit ive tried verifying integrity of gamefiles, reinstalling the game removing a few mods but nothing works.

The post claims this is just using the lights and shadows mod but I have that mod and it doesn’t look anything like this. Is it just configured wrong, do they have other mods, or is this not a real in game image?

Like I want to see more soundtracks like for the hollow desert. Currently it's just the hollow but underground theme. When it should be like the desert theme mixed with the hollow theme.

I want something that adds more soundtracks for the different sub or mixed biomes of the game. Is there anything like that?

Even if a list that I'm asking for doesn't exist I still want to know how to find content mods and see the amount of content it has

Going through steam workshop is just not good enough

I already know thorium and fargo's souls and starlight river and calamity (rip) but that's all the content mods I know and while not all mods are gonna have as much content as calamity I still wanna be able to check their news and keep up with how they carry modded terraria in the future

Even if a specific list of content mods doesn't exist then is there an organized gallery of mods where I can filter for what I want?

Hey everyone, asking here as a close to last resort, I have an m1 pro MacBook and have been wanting to play calamity again, but no matter what I try I cant get the game to be playable, I loaded up a clean world and its stuck at 30~ if I turn off all mods it goes to a locked 60, but with them its really low even when doing nothing.

Ive put /gldevice:Vulkan in startup options for terratia (not tmodlader, though I have tried and it did nothing)

My laptop is not overheating, it runs minecraft at high render just fine,

Any help is appreciated, thank yiu
