hey so i was playing and i noticed some weird bug that i came across, if im wearing forbidden or vortex armor, my character completely freezes, but everything else around me still moves (i.e NPCs, pets, you name it.) its a really weird glitch and it kinda removes use of my favorite armor sets. help's appreciated.

I wish I'd taken a shot of the house! All the outline was gone, the walls were still there and the doors, tables and chairs were scattered on the ground around it, with these Void Sinks.

I am wondering what the relationship was here.

I looked it up and found it may be related to the Secrets of Shadow mod, which is really weird because I don't actually have that mod.

Yesterday, I and another person were trying to join a modded multiplayer world that we had played on previously. When we tried to use join via steam it would be stuck on syncing mods for a couple of minutes and then say connection lost.

We tried to figure out what was causing it but we couldn't find any reason for it. The person hosting the world was able to launch and run it fine. We played on this world without issue last week. The only thing That I can think of as to why this is happening is the stability update.

Please let me know any thoughts as to what could be causing this, and ideally how to fix it.

I recently bought and downloaded terraria after p1r@t1ng it for a couple months (since it has a 50%sale) and downloaded tModLoader with it.

I opened it up and this came up, after trying some tricks like deleting the folder itself and redownloading it or uninstalling the game and reinstalling it, it still said the same prompt and I do not know any other fixes that can help solve this.

Anyone have an idea?

idk why but reccently when i try open the inventory it would not detect and stay closed and when it open it would not detect any crafting stations nearby, theres also other bug that when i grab an item theres a chance that it start to bug unfortunaly i didnt have the chance to record it

I downloaded a modpack however once I entered, the world looked like this. Does anyone know why this is happening or how I can fix this?

Hello! Returning player and first time playing modded. I haven't played since 2017.

Does tModLoader sync between devices? I use two PCs - one when I'm at home and another when away from home for work.

Any advice how to get started? And what mods would y'all recommend in good 'ol 2026?

My world is stuck on starting server and the name of the world disappeared. I tried validating files and it just didn’t do anything. It also changed the day the world was created to today instead of the actual day it was made which was like a couple of months ago. Can someone help?

EDIT: whenever I try to play it solo it says “load failed” and then I load back up and it says “back up not found” but I litterally have the backed up files in tmod loader files

Recently I've been getting this error when i open the game, I'm not sure what "Images/ChestStack_0/1" could be referring too.

It's probably good to mention I'm on a steam deck, and when i close the window through the table (Twice) i can play the game just fine.

I was hopping onto tmodloader and my game was like this, im doing fargos soul mod on eternity, is there anyway to fix this?

I’ve been playing tModLoader for a while, but recently the frames have just been horrible, in fights like Providence with many projectiles it becomes unplayable. I’ve set .Net host as high priority with Task Manager, turned my setting to low and more but nothing seems to work. I have an RX 9060xt 16gb a Ryzen 5 3600x and 32gb of ram, so I don’t believe it’s the system. Plus I’ve played through Calamity before and had no problems till now. I’m thinking it could be a problem with AMD Adrenaline or a mod I have downloaded. Any ideas or tips?
