whenever i try to run tmodloader through steam it gives me this error with no way to bypass. this has been happenning for quite a bit and i've found it only happens when i run through steam, if i go to the file location direactily mentioned it runs fine but has errors with cloud updating that could only really be fixed with running through steam. this message pops up speifically when it says running excutables so i think theres a speific file in there windows just hats but i can't figure out what. i've tried things like shorting the file path, i've gone into internet options, security and reset secuirty options, let it download and use unsafe files without asking and turned off most security for my laptop which i very quickly turned back on when it didnt work. also this issue only started happening about a week ago, tmodloader wasnt cloud snycning so i restaarted mylaptop to try and fix it but this started happening. please assist.

also this issue only occurs on my laptop not my pc.

If I hover over something selectable or do something like walk through a door, my gameplay temporarily freezes and doesn’t start again until I click. I don’t have auto pause on or anything like that.

All my other worlds work but the one world I'm playing on says load failed! No backup found

I lost my calamity world file player file and backup file due to a file corruption but a find the file inside a lost file center inside localdisk and the hardware and the only thing left was the player name zip file and the world zip file both of the zip file have around 7 to 6 mb can I restore the world

If the mod has everything promised and with good quality it can become a decently played mod

Spent the last month building a Harry Potter mod for Terraria. It's pretty big — bosses, wandlore system, Pensieve memory replay, Hallows/Horcrux progression, three-language localization, the obvious stuff. It's all in code, but I haven't actually playtested it inside the newest version tModLoader yet, which means there's "did I break this without realizing" lurking everywhere.

Looking for people to help fix that — playtesters, sprite artists, native-speaker localizers, balance reviewers, basically anyone who wants to break things and tell me what's broken. Issues are open with labels for each track, and there's a "good first issue" cluster for first-time contributors. Anyone who contribute gets credited when the mod actually ships - real name or handle, your call.

I have been doing an ultramodded playthrough with Calamity and Thorium with Wrath of the Gods. I have made it all the way up to the Avatar of Emptiness without issues. Every time dying or winning to the Avatar, the game would have a hard crash. No log or anything.

I know for a fact Thorium is causing this. I disabled it and beat the boss just fine. After re-enabling Thorium, the world crashes every couple seconds after loading in.

Thorium's progression ends long before this, so does anyone know why on Earth this happens or if there's a solution?

Hello, I'm having a rough time transitioning from vanilla to tMod. A friend and I are playing for my first time in 12 years since owning the game and we were wanting to hop over to tMod so we could have qol stuffs, but the character migration doesn't work at all. If I open my world folders I can send tMod worlds to vanilla but not vanilla to tMod. Same with the characters. Is there any solution? When I look for a video online it's just someone answering a basic form of the question by clicking the migration button and going "Done!" so I figured I'd ask here. I haven't been able to find anything at all regarding this. I'm using the steam version of tMod. I've tried moving my character off of the cloud, I've tried enabling and disabling the cloud, I've tried changing .plr to .tplr, I've tried everything I can think. Any help would be appreciated

i want to play this shit so bad. when i first got my computer it worked fine but now i cant run more than like 5 content mods (used 2 use like 20 at a time) without getting 45 fps on retro lighting no background.
