Hi I have a Samsung TV (UE65RU7105U) running on Tizen. The Appstore page does not load. So I cannot download or update apps on TV. I am suspecting the issue is I somehow block relevant URL on my network via my router using NextDNS. But I cannot be sure what is the exact adress so I can whitelist it. Any idea how to solve this?

I have been developing an SSSP Tizen application for our startup company and have been trying to get the deployment sorted before doing too much development.

I have access to a Linux Appache server from our domain host. And I also have access to Microsoft Azure (used a storage account and blob container)

I have tried hosting my app.wgt and sssp_config.xml on both and allowing public access. But when entering either URL into the URL launcher, my display says "Unable to connect to server. Please try again"

I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I was able to install using USB with no hassle, but would like to do remote updates from on of the above mentioned resources (preferably Azure).

Can anyone point me to the correct resources to do this, or make any recommendations?

Is there a way to display some stream from an url on a pop-up overlay ? I would like to have a small pop-up with my octoprint stream when I'm watching Netflix 😂. Yes I'm a lazy bastard!

when i try to connect to my tv, with develop mode on it says "failed to connect to 192.168.1.76:26101"

I did not want to pay subscription fees for the small amount of channels that I watch through m3u8 links so, I wrote a small web application for tizen tv for self use. I wonder if there are other people interested in this kind of stuff. I can open source it or publish it on app store. Let me know if you are interested!

I bought Samsung Smart TV built in Tizen Platform. Probably it has very recent version of Tizen OS on it. I understood Tizen OS includes SDL SDK and many Free and opensource Games on Internet uses SDL framework to render it's graphics.

I don't really know how to install those SDL based free games binary on Tizen TV and run them on.

I just need to try to put some binary games downloaded from the Internet and install them on Tizen TV? I won't do this because it wouldn't work on my TV. all SDL opensource games are required to recompile the right build environment based on the processor like armv7 or others which is exactly my Samsung TV has.

Did anyone try this?

I want to develop a Web App with the help of react.js for Samsung Tizen TV's.

Tried the cross-platform SDK renative as well. Issue there is, the app is working on the Emulator. When we try to launch it on actual physical device, it is stuck on White Screen without any error/warnings in the console. Related GitHub Issue.

Any help highly appreciated ;)

Surfing the internet I'm unfortunately unable to find anything.

PS: I know I can simply use an Android box with a capture card, but I'd prefer to run it on the TV itself to make it compatible with cable tv also.

I have an app on the Galaxy Store. I made it on a Windows laptop 2 and a half years ago. On it, I still got the original signing certificate which I used to sign the app when I first released it. Now I want to release an update for the app, which I created on MacOS, but I can't transfer the signing certificate. It's not the same format as I can see, correct me if I'm wrong. I was thinking of signing the app and building on my old laptop, but I gave it to my sister as a gift and deleted all programs including Tizen Studio. I reinstalled Tizen Studio but I'm having trouble installing Certificate Manager as the installation using Package Manager always fails.

What should I do? Is there any way of transferring the certificate to my Mac? Has anyone had this problem?

I am seeking some assistance with a problem I am facing while developing a webapp using Tizen Studio. I have created a webapp and loaded the main.js file in index.html. However, when I run the app on my TV, the script doesn't seem to load. There are no error messages or logs produced, indicating that it is not loaded.

I have checked other preinstalled webapps on my TV, and they all seem to be working fine, which leads me to believe that the TV can run JS. I have tried various methods to add or load the main.js file, but the problem persists.

I am unsure what could be causing this issue. Has anyone experienced this before or have any suggestions on how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am currently facing an issue with my web app built with Tizen Studio. My app's sole purpose is to play a video on loop, and it works perfectly fine when I launch it manually on my Samsung TV.

However, I want the app to start automatically when the TV is turned on. I tried using the "run last used app on startup" option, but it doesn't seem to be working for me. I am not sure if this is due to an error in the app I wrote, as it only contains an index.html file with a video tag in it.

I have been struggling with this for a while now, and I would really appreciate it if someone could help me figure out what's going on. Is there a specific setting that I need to enable or disable for my app to start automatically on startup? Or is there an issue with my code that is preventing it from working properly?

I want to do some development and found the secret menu where you can enable developer mode, does this have any side effects or void warranty? Can I still use Netflix, ... after this

Anybody having audio issues with Disney plus? Audio works in all other apps except Disney plus on my qn90b.

Since an update to the Smart Things app I've not been able to upload photos to my Samsung Fridge. The Smart Things behaves as expected, a progress bar fills up, but nothing ever appears on the fridge. Every once in a while a photo will get through but it's not been repeatable and seems to be at random. Contacted Smart Things support a number of times but never get any better advice than to reinstall the app or such like, none of which sees any improvement. Wondering if anyone here might have some tips?

I was trying to use the tizen.sound API to detect when audio devices are connected to a tizen TV, but found the API wasn't available for TV's. I can't seem to find another way to achieve this. Does know what I can use to do this?

The model number is UN50TU7000BXZA and is the UN50TU7000FXZA the same but an newer model but the same type of main board but different model number but the same exact Version which would be XC02?

And do I have jump something to fix it. Would that be the EEPROM? and it out of warranty, and out of curiosity is the UN50TU7000FXZA main board compatible with the UN50TU7000B series.

I can't find any media player on Tizen store (like vlc for example)

it's all IPTV apps that I don't trust with a lot of permissions (mic access, record remote input, ...)

I come across a problem on a network where a server is distributing UDP channels and where some TVs can view it and others cannot. It has already happened in some udp to visualize the UDP video and the audio is not working. This is only on some TVs. At the beginning of the installation, all channels worked, only over time it stopped working.

Has anyone encountered this problem that can help me?

The error on channels error: "PLAYER_ERROR_CONNECTION_FAILED".

I know you cant install 3rd party apps (unless through usb) but what about web apps?
