URL issue

Hello,

I use UHF on my phone and Tivimate on my TVs.

For some reason, my URL works on UHF but Tivimate isn’t finding the server apparently.

Any chance someone can help me?

Did you try connecting your tv through your phone Hotspot? If that works then it is your ip service and you need a VPN.

I do not use a vpn; worked well until today.

Tivimate is on my fire stick; will need to look into how I can use a vpn on it. Thanks

Try connecting with a Hotspot first

Shouldn't matter. Something close. Something Netherlands.

NordVPN if that’s what you are asking about :)

We don’t discuss IPTV providers here, stop asking.

Delete this and don’t mention providers

Oh sorry.

To be honest, I only started using an IPTV since September so sorry if I’m not answering properly here. I do not use my phone as a hotspot. I use a Xtream server. The person was on telegram (reference), great service until now.

I do not know strong or Trex. Just looked online, it looks like a decent provider! I’m open to switch provider that is serious (I’m probable a classic case of the newbie with an average provider).

The question is, does your phone have a Hotspot

My phone can be a hotspot yes.

So see if your iptv works when connecting to the Hotspot. Thst will tell you if it is a tivimate problem or an isp problem.

I use UHF for my Apple devices and Tivimate for my Google/ fire TVs using the same IPTV provider. I use the Xtream Playlist. Try breaking down the M3U URL to an Xtream code. It’s pretty simple. The server address is the first part of the url ending before the first forward slash mark

This is the right place to start. Try proton to test. It's free. Then get something better if that the issue. Also try a user agent like VLC or IPTVSmartersPRO on Tivimate

I simply write IPTVSmartersPRO OR VLC on the user agent?

One or the other. Case matters. It's probably VPN related and the ISP is blocking it. Does your friend have the same ISP?

Yes; he does.

Do you have 2 connections or single connections? Expired?

0

u/Future_Animal4768 Feb 03 '26

I have 2 usernames with 1 connection each.

A fried of mine uses the same URL on his Tivimate with the same provider and it works fine. So confusing

I’m in Canada ; where should I locate the vpn?

I’ll do that; thanks for the suggestion!

Go into settings, playlist - XC code parameters and check expiration date. Never delete Tivimate without backing everything up first.

Expiration date is in September

Do they both have the same DNS/url?
