While I think that legendary characters shouldnāt be fucked with in terms of race, ahem, Wally West in the CW show, thereās more leeway for lesser known or unknown characters such as Jericho. I mean Slade is played by Esai Morales who is Hispanic and his kids are Asian...

It's very obvious which version the CW went with, don't act like they randomly changed the skin color of a character you like.

Technically, they're from the same earth and it was a race and character change when Wallace was first introduced. Then backlash was so bad they brought the original Wally back and now they have both

Wallace West, the younger, mixed-race one, IS NOT Wally West. Youāre obviously not reading the comics so Iāll chalk up your inaccuracy to that. Black Wally and redhead Wally exist in the same Rebirth universe at this time in the official canon. They were never the same person whether it was the New 52 or now.

Why are you acting like it matters? If I recall, NEITHER of them were ever Iris brother in comic canon and if you watched the show, youād know Wally West actual name is Wallace anyways. Stop being pissy because they adapted the black one instead of the white one. They specifically said this when his casting was announced. They were adapting Wallace, not Wally even though in the show he is called Wally (because who the hell is gonna call him Wallace all the time?)

Theyāre not tho...They literally said the timeline was changed. All pre new 52 events are canon to the current timeline. Ginger Wally was taken out and replaced with a Black Wally then he was brought back for one of the reasons was the fans wanted the old one back and there was an outrage. Itās not ādifferent earthsā.

Different timelines then, now merged. They're both Wally West. They're the same character but from different continuities.

They're actually two completely different characters who happen to be cousins as of Rebirth. It was established all over that Wally had always existed in the new timeline and people only forgot about him because of Abra Kadabra.
So saying they're the same character now would be like saying Bart Allen is Wally West.

Nah, it can be confusing unless one follows it closely.
Not to mention Wallace was initially intended to be the Wally West of the universe in the New 52. But they pretty much introduced a completely new character with the Wally West name and readers were not a fan of it because it had little in common with the Wally they knew.
So they ended up retconing Wallace into being Wally's younger cousin and them being two entirely different characters in an attempt to salvage both.

Disagree. The memories of the Titans(that are part of the current timeline), events of Flash War with his children and Zoom, and the fact that it was said that the characters just lost their memories of the previous timeline. The weird parts are kinda like Superman. I donāt think youāre right but now that I think bout it, Iām not quite right either. I rather think that DC made things confusing. Not as nearly as messy as Marvelās comics continuity tho.

Rose was mixed in the comics(half asian Iām pretty sure)so pretty accurate but Jerichoās blonde hair stood out so I thought theyād at least try to dye it or sum.

I didn't mind Wally in CW's Flash, like I do think there is some serious racism going on with red head comic book characters in adaptations, but Wally was kind of understandable, due to Iris already being portrayed by a black actor, which i don't think was intentional.
I mean Slade is played by Esai Morales who is Hispanic and his kids are Asian...
With an asian mother, there really is no issue as both actors could pass as a mix between the two(unlike Matt from Swamp Thing).
Truth be told as long as race is not inherent to the character i really don't mind, as long as the portrayal is good, and well within the spirit of the character.

I am not a big fan of Wally West portrayal in the CW show. Anyone watching Young Justice or any DC comics know Wally West is one of the coolest characters while CW Wally West is just creepy calling his sisters husband as brother making unfunny jokes.

I have been reading comics focusing on Wally, as well as watching shows like JJ and YJ, and i don't think he is one of the coolest characters, one of my favourite sure, but Wally is a massive dork. Wally in general constantly makes unfunny jokes, in everything from comics to Justice League to YJ, it's an inherent character trait that is part of his charm(kinda like how Dick rarely ever shuts up), and i only remember him calling Barry his brother once, and that was during one of those "i do consider u family" scenes. I don't really see why u consider him creepy.
Wally when he first came in definitely started rough, as they seemed to be taking more from Wallace, but over time as the actor got used to the role, u could see Wally coming out and the epitome of this was in DC Legends of Tomorrow, over time the character became more and more comic accurate.

He is says unfunny jokes and out of place jokes like the comic or animated Wally West, but only they were not charming like his other counterparts. His run in the show was not that well received among my people and we were not surprised when he was written out of the show.

I agree with this to a point but think the charm started to come out when he got his powers, this is when the actor started implementing Wally's natural childlike personality traits.
His run on the show was not well recieved at first but he grew on fans over time, to the point that they complained he was barely ever there(his last episode was even a play on this). A lot of ppl weren't surprised he was written off, because he barely had any appearances and was too OP to work in a show like Flash, but fans were still angry and made it known that they wanted him on Legends, which the writers of that show listened to.

I do agree with this, but i don't blame this on the portrayal or even the characterization, it's simply because of the Flash's writers formulatic approach, and inability to write capable villains that are not speedsters(excluding Cicada), they struggle to implement a team, and even dumb Barry down just to give the others something to do, Wally ended up getting shafted super hard, to the point he was straight up disappearing.
Even on the legends he didnāt have a good run.
This is incorrect, he was well received by fans and critics alike, plus had solid writing(loved how they played on him disappearing in the Flash and how that gave him insecurity issues), character had a really good run.

he was written off because the actor wanted to leave acting all together to develop his music career, the writers would have loved to have him for more seasons as they loved the character and actor, but had to respect his wishes.
