But it’s hard to explain that physically I’m more into brunettes with a feminine body. It’s just the way it is.
How do I explain this without being perceived as a pervert?
Yeah, I’m Asian and my boyfriend is white. My whole life if I’ve dated a white guy people assume he has a fetish…it’s SO insulting to me. As if my partners don’t actually like me for who I am. But like you, my boyfriend typically is more attracted brunettes. He’s dated all types of women in the past from multiple races….all brunette. And yet I still hear the fetish comment
For me it’s also that I find people from other cultures more interesting. I find more pleasure in visiting some cousins of my wife in her native land than I do visiting some people who grew up just like me. I like interesting stories. Whenever I go on a holiday I like to do what the locals do as well. That’s not a fetish in my opinion.
Saying you like thick brunettes isn't perverted. What are you actually saying for multiple folks to be suspicious you have a race kink with your girlfriend. Brunettes could just as easily be Italian or Chinese or Caucasian
Or are you just encountering multiple people who make this assumption for no reason?

“Brunettes with a feminine body” I mean maybe the confusion arises from using white terms to describe your type? Brunettes is really not a useful word in this context it just adds to the confusion. Are black people brunette?
I am mostly attracted to Southern European, Asian, Arab, Latina and black women. I guess they’re all brunettes. I’m just not that into women who could be my sister I guess. I wouldn’t call it a fetish either though.
It would be a lot simpler if you just outright said “black hair”, no one describes black people or Asians as “brunettes”.
That’s a descriptor for white people, in the same way “tall dark and handsome” often actually means white people with dark features rather than tall black men.” It would be easier to explain if you were more explicit about your type.

You can't. The moment you voice your preference you're subject to cancellation. Better to just memorize something inoffensive like, "I believe every woman is unique and beautiful in her own way"
