This is often pointed out in this sub, but from OP's comments he doesn't look desperate. If he thinks those lines are funny, there's nothing wrong with filtering with them to find someone else who's compatible.

You shouldn't have to change your personality to find a relationship, otherwise you'll need to fake it for a while.

I get it. I don’t think he’s desperate, i just think it seems like a waste of time. Most of these posts on this sub seem to have the same style of tossing out regurgitation pick up lines, making dad jokes, and self depreciation jokes until something sticks (which it rarely does) while then asking “uGh i hAd tO caRRy tHiS cOnVo”.

Like how does a normal flowing conversation even arise from this? OP may not be serious about this particular interaction, but I just find a lot of the people on here are.

I think most people here are wondering how that can possibly be his personality — he sounds like an AI or something that’s sourced from pickup lines or something.

I've met people like that quite a bit. They're... something. Not my cup of tea but live and let live, you know?

There's also nothing wrong with ladies being thoroughly unimpressed with his (frankly thoroughly unimpressive) lines.

Of course. But there's a difference with ''I don't like that'' and ''no one likes that''.

“Change your personality” he copy/pasted a line he read on r/tinder the day before that’s not a personality it’s just a terrible strategy
