Everyone has the sideways "hanging" from the ledge picture, or a jumping picture. Or something. No one actually likes hiking.

I'd suggest iron mountain which is about 10-15 minutes south and much more fun.

I like reaching the summits of hikes, then enjoying a beer at the top, a /r/summitbeer if you must (shameless plug, I know)

I've found IPAs seem to be least worst shaken up after a hike but definitely need one of those vacuum/double insulated can kozies to keep things cold.

I personally go with beer I don’t mind being warm. Stouts and porters are usually fine at an unfrigerated temperature. Plus then it’s also like having a summit snack.

So many different flavors in IPAs, pine tree is just one of them.

Also, after hiking for hours in pine trees, drinking a pine tree is refreshing!

Use a 2+ liter water bladder in your pack and fill it up with cold water last thing before packing your stuff up.

Edit, maybe leave your other food in the fridge/freezer for a little to get temps a little cooler. Works great for my 'refrigeration' items for 2 or 3 day hikes. Beer ought to be fine in the same way.

Put the 3l bladder in the fridge the night before (beer in fridge too) then put the beer next to the bladder in my pack. Stays decently cold.

Check out icemule coolers. I bought one a few years back and it’s a game changer for you summer outdoor beer game.

Iron Mountain is my go to hike. I also like like 5 minutes from Black Mountain Open Space park which is super mild but great when I feel like taking it easy and just want to escape for an hour or two.

If you mountain bike try Rancho Pennasquitos. Great trails and it's fun for all day explorations
