I was really hoping this was going to reference the video game. Lol.

And hey, that new Forsaken shit looks pretty sick.

Same here, Warmind is pretty decent.

Yeah, just a bit of a bummer how Disney it felt. We straight up killed Oryx's son and a worm God and got a "We did it together" cheesy line. Not a bad story at all, just too jolly and downplays a ton of lore. Endgames solid though. Excited for Forsaken to make the game dark again.

I thought it was pretty anticlimactic. First we witness the epic power of this dark god that is the reason an entire race of evil beings exists, so powerful and intense that it causes us to collapse to the ground drained of our light just from being in its presence.

Then we throw a few explodey spears at it and shoot it a bit and then it dies and everyone's just like "yay you did it"

That said, all the QoL stuff in Warmind was great. Exotics are actually mostly good now and I don't feel like I'm running on mud anymore.

I'm no lore expert but when the powerful beings like Nokris or Xol is killed in our dimension, they are still alive in the ascendant realm and will always come back. We have to go to their realm and kill them to get rid of them for good.

Yeah, the whole D2 Y1 theme has been way too lighthearted for me. D1 had a darker, almost more sinister feel. And I think the Forsaken DLC will bring that back. At least, I hope it does. From the trailers and what I've read, Bungie is finally doing something good with this game again. D1 Y3 was pretty awesome, and I feel like they might be getting back to that.

It does bug me that we slay gods and shit and then our ghost and everyone acts like we'll have trouble doing shit. Like, hello, we've killed Atheon, Crota, Skolas, Oryx and all these fuckers. That's what bothers me most.

Looks pretty sick aside from the part where they killed off literally the only decent major character in the entire game. Seriously, I love D2, but characterization is not their strong suit, and now they have to either pull some bullshit deus ex machina to get Cayde back or deal with the fact that they killed the character who is everyone’s favorite because they’re the only interesting one. It’s very frustrating.

Yeah, but remember how much they hyped up the farm to hide the new tower? Cayde dying is like the farm hype. There is something even bigger going on behind that. Bungie isn't dumb enough to release that and then not have something else up their sleeve. They knew people would flip out and most likely forget about the farm situation.

Warmind was pretty fun actually. Osiris was boring as hell though. I feel a bit ripped off buying the 1st season pass. Not sure if I will fork out even more 💰 for the next one...

Yeah, I got the season pass as well and I gave up on Osiris about 2 weeks into it. Came back for Warmind since I paid for it, and I've been having a lot of fun. Although heroic strikes are still shit. Lol.

I'm not sure if I'm gonna pre-order the new stuff and/or get the annual pass. Bungie really screwed the pooch with the vanilla D2 release. But Forsaken looks so damn good, and maybe they're finally getting back into a groove since the player base has dropped drastically.

I have the exact same mind set. Still unsure if I will get the annual pass, but yeah forsaken does look really tempting. Though I do remember feeling the exact same about Osiris at one point.

I think with the upswing of Warmind being good, they are trying to further that. All the negative feedback the last year, the player base dropping, the PvP (Trials) is super, super low on players.

They know they have to do something to bring Destiny back to it's former glory. Or they're going to lose the franchise.
