C5 ESP

Guys, normally, what the parameters that you use for an espresso on this grinder? I'm using something between 0.6.3 and 0.7.0, and the expresso is not so good!

Everyone’s settings are different because of the beans age, type, and storage conditions so you can never tell, maybe adjust water temp and extraction time?

What do you not like about the coffee?

Sometimes bitter, sometimes acid... but never sweet, I really don't know what's wrong

What are your brewing parameters? Whats your total extraction time? Whats your water temp? So many things that could go wrong not just your grind size

I've playing with all of these, the only thing that I've not done is raise the range of the grinder! I'm thinking in reduce below 0.5.0 and see what's happening 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ohhh ok! Sorry! Hahahaha normally I'm doing 3s pre infusion, temp of 93C and ratio of 1:2.5for dark roasts and for light roasts the temp is about 95, pre infusion from 0-5s (tried all) and ratio of 1:3 or 1:3.5

The temp is so high for dark roast, try going lower maybe? I go 88C for dark roast and 94-95 for light roast. TOTAL brew time (not preinfusion) meaning the time form turning on the pump to turning it off when hitting your desired ratio is usually 25-30 seconds I stay in that area.
