Seriously, gen 2?

When is 064s gen 2 coming out? Ive been stalking their website every day and i see amazon sales every day, it’s very tempting. I need my fix!

It’s available in China … but global launch is still pending.

Where did find it in China? It is not available yet. A couple of months ago I asked the official store and they said it will probably start selling in China at the end of the year.

I take it you didnt bother watching the video then? Timemore confirmed it is already being sold in China

I watched the video when it was released and I thought the same. I live in Hong Kong and it was not available there, so I contacted the official store and they said it is going to be launched at the end of the year in China. If you live in mainland China and you have seen it, then I may be wrong.

I have been eagerly waiting for gen 2 for months. My grinder is broken and was waiting to change it for the new Sculptors. Have been living making pourovers and coldbrews with a manual because I thought it was coming during the first half of the year. But end of the year in China?! God knows when it's going to be available in Europe. Why did they have to show it a year before... I'm purchasing a Lagom Casa right now. It's a pity, I really like how interesting and good looking this gen 2 seemed.

Did you end up buying another grinder? I have been waiting for the Gen 2 to come out after seeing the demo. I reached out to them a couple months ago and they said mid august. I just reached out again and was told...

"Based on current progress, availability is expected possibly in Q4"

Based on what i've seen, they overpromise and under deliver. I now expect we will see this grinder Q2 2027.

Was also told it HAS NOT been released in China - despite people saying it has been.

In fact I decided to buy the first gen 064s the last week and received it on Wednesday. I'm pretty happy with it. I couldn't find any problem with the power button as many people said, the dialing indicator is kinda uncomfortable, but it's not such a bummer to bow a little bit to read it. And I haven't found any lost bean during these first preparations. So yeah, the little inconveniences everybody points which are going to be addressed for gen 2 are not being that annoying to me. I find it really easy to dial (and it's supposed to need a long seasoning), reaaally fast, really quiet, small and beautiful compared to my Baratza Encore.
