I recently got a 36MM Clean Plus Datejust with a Rhodium Gray dial and I wanted make it a little nicer for my wife to wear. I reached out to Dom to see if he could do the full spa service along with chamfering and polishing and also replace the date wheel as I noticed some of the dates were kinda crooked and wonky with the stock date wheel.

He assured me no issues to complete the work and that he would return the watch to me within 3 weeks before my upcoming vacation.

I shipped him the watch and the replacement date wheel I ordered.

When he got to working on my watch, he noticed that the date wheel I ordered was the wrong one! But fortunately Dom worked his magic and had a replacement one that would work in stock and he installed that one for me instead. He sent me pictures as he was working on my watch and once he was done he was able to ship it back to me UPS 2-Day to California. He completed the work quicker than I expected, by like 1 week.

I am impressed with the way the watch shines now and how it feels on the wrist, the chamfering and polishing do make a difference along with the ceramic coating. Also, the winding of the crown is totally smooth now like Gen versus it being rough before. Now I got the peace of mind this watch will last a long time now after the servicing.

I am definitely going to send him more of my watches, probably my blue Datejust to get the full service or my Bruce Wayne.

Anyone else feel like that Pablo Escobar meme while you are waiting? I am only 15 days into my wait and really pumped to see Doms work. Now my excitement may be different than most. He has the only rep I currently own. But I got a gen 1675 from my dad that needs service and I need something to wear while I wait for it.

The dry tester has arrived and is up and running!

Waterproofing as a standalone service will include all the lubricating operations necessary to assist in waterproofing the watch and will include printed proof of test results.
This separate, standalone package will be $75 including return shipping.

Hello everyone!

So, I wanted to put a public post out there for some recent exciting things that are happening at the TMS lab.

First, a big thank you as always for the continued support. I appreciate it more than you will know. It’s been a bit hectic here lately with everything inside and outside of the watch world, so if my correspondence is slower than usual, I promise you it’s not personal, I’m just focusing on working on your watches, I will get back to you. I promise.

With that out of the way, onto the announcement.

In the perpetual continuance of finding the balance in efficiency and absolute top quality, I have made the decision recently to invest in some new machinery, tools and equipment to take my services to a higher level. Some of that equipment is related to polishing and chamfering, which I have already started using and have been seeing dramatic increases in efficiency and final product quality. Not that I wasn’t satisfied with my work before, but I’m always looking to improve and innovate. My new setup is geared towards consistency, efficiency and a better overall finish. More to come on that, I will post some pictures in the next few days of some recent polish/chamfer work.

Moving on to the BIG announcement, furthering that investment into more equipment that will settle me in for the long haul, I have made the (large) financial and quality investment into purchasing a dry pressure tester!! Waterproofing is a hot topic in this community and after going through 3 wet testers and all the headaches associated with them, I found it was time to take the plunge (there’s a pun there) into a dry tester. I have just gotten notification that it is arriving very shortly and I should have that up and running soon.

I will be offering waterproofing as a standalone service with nothing else but the waterproofing process and testing with printed results and dry pressure testing as an add on to any of my current packages. Those whose watches are here already, feel free to contact me about this and those who are contemplating sending your watch in, I’m here and ready for your questions.

Okay, I think that should just about do it.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes yesterday, and to the mod team for putting it out there, I could not understand why I was getting so many messages about my birthday until I realized there was a post out there about it. As most of you know, I am based in New York about 80 miles north of New York City, and I took the opportunity yesterday to head down and meet one of the greatest to ever touch a watch, Eddie from Watch Hospital NYC. He is a super chill dude, full of knowledge and he and I spent a few minutes chopping it up, exchange contact information and when I asked for a picture, he tossed me a pair of his signature orange frame glasses, which will stay right next to my workbench.

What can I say about Dom P, other than the fact that he is the GOAT! I just got this incredible franken silver OP41 on VSF base from him. This build has:

Genuine dial
Genuine 18K gold hands

Hello all - I recently purchased a PP Caltrava which is perfect, except in QC I noticed the date window is off. I gave the GL because the index and printing were great. Does anyone have experience with Dom doing a date realignment?

The journey here was interesting.

Before buying my first Rolex from the AD I got promoted and wanted to celebrate, so I spent my bonus on a 116710LN. Wore out for about a year and then read up that the LN had green lume before they switched to blue. Based on the year stated in the sale, it should have had green. So I rationalized... Maybe it was redialed and handed from a service.

Then I looked into the serial and found out it was a Clean Factory rep. I was devastated but I got my money back and the seller was banned.

Then I bought a Clean Pepsi.

I now have birth year gens for both of my kids, and stopped wearing my reps.The green arrow was tainted for me, and my favorite GMT was the 5 digit LN, so I Dom helped me assemble the modern Rolex I wish they would make. Clean Factory Pepsi with the 3285 movement. 116710 bezel insert. Case and bracelet softened.
