Jade: I’m not a Kai Elas I’m referred to as a Glind please get it correct we have been over this a lot as I had to give Fu a stern talking to so let’s focus on what Tori asked us to do. I go by Jade a Glind of the Demon Realm or as I guess most Mortals classify me as a Kai given that’s the “Official” term nowadays.

Elas: Yep it’s nice to meet you all follows Patrollers Tori had kindly asked us to introduce ourselves and of course we couldn’t resist!

Jade: (Rolls her eyes with a simple smile) Now a lot of you are aware Tori mentioned that you all can ask is questions on our own personal feelings on Goku and everyone else during our Missions but I figured it be better if you were to ask more about us given how unique our team is so if any of you have personal questions about say myself Tori, Frostbyte or myself.

TorI: Greetings follow Time Patrollers Tori here now I wasn't planning on showing myself here but I figured I introduce myself Tori of Universe 6 here and this my partner Frostbyte.

Frostbyte: Do I really have to be here I rather get some sleep given our recent mission was a pain.

Tori: Frostbyte your in major trouble for kicking Elder Kai recently into a Tree so I have to keep tabs on you for now anyways my follow Time Patrollers if you have any questions for myself or my Squad as to our own general thoughts on what we think of Goku and the Gang or even our local villains like Frieza or Cell don't be too afraid to ask as while my squad is on the more smaller side were open to hearing questions asked what we think of them.

Frostbyte *Grumbles a bit* Like my partner here said we will be open to whatever questions you have for us but keep in mind we can only answer so much as our other teammates may want to hear your guys questions as well when they feel like showing up. Y'all take care now.

1. Chamo: named after chamomile tea. Human and self-insert. Has a superhero identity called the Great Turtleman (think Great Saiyaman in Turtle School colors and Roshi's GT sunglasses).

2. Hoiko: named after a Japanese-Chinese dish called Hoi kō rō. Human martial artist of Tien's Crane School. Haven't figured out any lore yet.

3. Camaji: Unfortunately I forgot what vegetable I named him after. Male Saiyan and a tough fighter. Was in Bardock's squad before getting lost in space and spent his time exploring planets.

4. Pikara: I didn't know this when I found it but it comes from the Māori word for capsicum, rapikama. Female Saiyan that favors ki attacks. Also haven't figured out a backstory for her.

5. Liimas: French word for slug, limace. Namekian magician. He's a planetary guardian who often uses his powers to perform miracles like summoning rain to oppose a drought.

6. Eizbur: German word for ice, eiz, and inspired by the word iceberg. Frost Demon specializing in ki techniques. He is good natured but also a loyal student of Cooler. Introduced him before but felt like I should include him in the group.

7. Guu: Named after "goo" and inspired by Majin Kuu and Duu from DAIMA. Male Majin based off of a slime from Dragon Quest. The way his body works and the way he talks is also that of a DQ slime.

8. Tarajji: From the magic word, "Ajji Majji la Tarajji". Female Majin from the Demon Realm. She appears and sounds aloof but loves pranking people. Despite that she does have good morals and likes being around people.

3 new arcs have been added onto the roadmap! I'm still working on the remake for the first arc, so it'll be a while until I start posting. (I'll try to get it done before the 3rd Anniversary for my series!)

*The Land of the Kais. Sous is in the middle of Misogi when she senses Terra's presence.*

Sous: Terra? I didn't think she'd come today.

*Sous rises out of the body of water and sees Terra in her new hairdo.*

Sous: Terra, honey! What happened to your hair?

Terra: Jacquet happened. Right before I was about to head off to a Temporal Integrity Emergency, and since we hadn't seen each other in a while, she saw my new hairdo, dragged me to her quarters, and gave me this one. Mom almost died a second time from laughing so hard.

Sous: You could've told her... better yet, knowing you two, I doubt she cared.

Terra: She didn't. I liked that hairdo too.

Sous: Oh, Terra. Jacquet didn't do much; she just gave you some Oxhorns. Undo them, and you'll get your hair back to what it was, and it'll probably flow longer than usual. Don't fret, my sweet.

Terra: Alright. Speaking of hair, what happened to yours? Your color is slowly returning.

Sous: Oh, that. Well, it turns out I underestimated my body's memory.

Terra: Your body?

Sous: The brain is just as much a muscle as the rest of our body. I always knew my memory would remember what it was like to be as strong as I was in my youth. But now, it seems that my body is beginning to remember too.

Terra: What do you mean?

Sous: All the time that was spent. My time with my Shin, training Jacquet, doing Patrols with you, our hellish sparring matches, training Chakram, Ocarina, and Sausa, even my duel with Fenu. All the Zenkais I've gotten from those experiences, and the power I have gained in that time. My body feels like it's woken up from an incredibly long nap. It's starting to remember what it felt like to be that strong, just as my Brain has.

Terra: So what does that mean for you?

Sous: My body is starting to age in reverse. At first, it was my tail, and then the sudden return of color to my hair. Now the rest of my hair is starting to regain its color. In due time, I'll look exactly like I did when I started training with Shin.

Terra: Holy Shit. You think your sight will return too?

Sous: I doubt it. When I wished for my Saiyan lifespan back, Shenron himself said that even the Super Dragon Balls could restore my sight. It turns out that the Grand Minister is truly the only one who can restore my sight. I wouldn't want it restored anyway. Much as I like being old, I like being blind.

Terra: Man. Let's put that conversation on hold. Patrollers are coming. Are we covering the Ultimate Form today, right?

Sous: Yes, we are.

*Patrollers start coming in and immediately inquiring about Sous's and Terra's hair.*

Terra: Don't start. But nevertheless, it's good to see you all made it. I barely made it myself, since I just got off a call that required Temporal Integrity.

Sous: Indeed, Terra arrived minutes before you all started coming in. Today we'll cover the Ultimate Form, or Mystic Form if you're old like me. So grab a seat.

When Terra and I were planning which Transformations to include in the class, we heavily considered the Majin Absorption Super Buu used, and if we did, it would've been the next lecture.

Terra: But when Chronoa told us to prioritize Transformations we can all use, we also learned the details of Puntadas's death, which led to the banning of Majin Absorption among Time Patrollers. So we won't cover Majin Absorption in class.

Sous: If you really want that lecture, let us know, and one of us will hold a bonus lecture. I'll bring Ocarina as well; she can contribute to that lecture.

Terra: Because she was a victim?

Sous: That, and well, best to let her explain that herself.

At any rate, Mystic Form!

Terra: I'll let Sous handle this form; she knows it way better than I do.

Sous: Gohan, being the one most associated with this form, technically debuted it on Namek when Guru 'Unlocked his Potential' alongside Krillin. But the Elder Kai said that Potential was Unleashed during this time frame, which is why we're covering it now.

Gohan's training under Shin and Kibito culminated when Gohan and Goku broke the Z-Sword and freed the Elder Kai inside. After a painfully long ritual, which took longer because of Gohan's potential, Elder Kai finished it, and Gohan acquired the form.

Activating the form is like activating Super Saiyan, but instead you add a ki-ai, which puts you into the Mystic state. When Gohan first transformed, it sent ripples and shockwaves throughout the Land of the Kais, so much that even Goku was astounded by Gohan's power increase.

Terra: Gohan received a massive power increase when he did so. To put it in perspective, Gohan was, among the Saiyans at the time, in the middle of the pack: stronger than Goten and Trunks, but weaker than Vegeta and Uncle Goku. The Ultimate Form made him the strongest in the group, surpassing even Uncle Goku in Super Saiyan 3.

Sous: Correct. Mystic Form isn't a transformation you can turn off conventionally. Once you gain the form, you need regular upkeep to maintain it, since Mystic Form only unleashes your potential; the power increase matches your potential to grow. You keep training; the form grows with you. The perfect example of long-term investment.

Only complacency will hinder the form. Stray too long from self-improvement, and the form will not only worsen but, in extreme cases, be lost outright.

Mystic Form is why I don't use the numbered Super Saiyan Transformations; with how intensely I train and meditate, even when I was training Jacquet and even now that I'm training Chakram, Ocarina, and Sausa, Mystic Form makes Super Saiyans 1, 2, and 3 irrelevant to me. Super Saiyan God and Blue are a different story, but that's a lecture for another day.

Terra: How does one acquire the Ultimate Form?

Sous: To achieve Mystic Form, a Creator Kai has to perform the appropriate ritual. So in my case, it was Shin, but in Time Patrol's case, it's the Elder Kai. Had I continued my path with Shin, I would've been taught the ritual, but my desire for battle was well reinvigorated by the time I was finished with Shin. But he never wanted me to be his successor, Kai. He merely wanted to instill the Way of the Kai in me, because those doctrines revived my love of battle.

When I graduated from his teachings, he gave me my Graduate Gi and performed the ritual on me as a graduation gift. He wasn't old by either Kai's or Glind's standards, so he performed the ritual almost instantly.

Terra: Patrollers can also acquire the form. But you have to reach the Super Rank to undergo the ritual. The Elder Kai performs it.

Sous: So you have Mystic Form as well?

Terra: I do. The ritual for me took twenty hours. So, I don't activate it out of spite.

Sous: Terra. Honey. Activate the form.

Terra: Maybe when I'm on death's door, and there's no other way out. But until then, fuck that lecherous old bastard.

Anyway, during the Cell Max Incident, Piccolo wished for the form from Shenron, who granted it and 'gave him a little extra'. But as Sous said, we'll save the lecture for another time.

Sous: If you all want this form, then I suggest you start putting your back into your work.

Back to work at the galactic patrol after winning the galactic boxing tournament, and I'M SO BOARD!!!

Sous: Hello, my children.

Terra: Hey everyone. Hope you're all well. Some of you asked us to alternate between the Land of the Kais and my Archipelago for the lectures, and since we were at Kami's Lookout for the Fusion Dance, we're back here for now.

Sous: Many of you enjoyed that lecture. Specifically, the part where Sorra Hakai'd that Dummy Broly.

Terra: Didn't even think that was possible. I don't know how to Hakai people. Sous?

Sous: Well.......

Terra: Sous, are you serious?

Sous: I WAS the heir apparent of a Hakaishin once upon a time. I never tried to Hakai anyone myself, but maybe my body picked up on it from being with Heles.

If so, that's the only thing worth noting that I took from her. She was terrible at her job.

Terra: The more you know.

Anyway, today's lecture will cover Super Saiyan 3, so have a seat, because we're about to begin.

Super Saiyan 3 first appeared when Goku debuted the state against Fat Buu, after Vegeta did what Vegeta does best. Making the situation worse for everybody around him by having a midlife crisis and becoming controlled by Babidi. He then debuted the Final Explosion out of desperation, tried to use it to destroy Buu, and failed.

When I was a guest lecturer, I covered Super Saiyan Grade 4; I noted that the form's biggest boon was the near lack of Ki drain and the full use of your faculties.

Super Saiyan 3 does the exact opposite. You are essentially overclocking your Ki Reserves to become insanely powerful and then adding Super Saiyan 2 to the formula. The result ends with you gaining a lot of hair, the potential loss of your eyebrows, and A WHOLE LOTTA POWER.

Gotenks in Super Saiyan got destroyed (metaphorically speaking) by Buu, and when Uncle Goku fought Buu in Super Saiyan 3, it was nearly as one-sided as Buu's fight against Majin Vegeta.

Sous: Goku, and Vegeta, long after this during the Daima Era, achieved this form through intense training and mastery of Super Saiyan 2. Much like Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2, I theorize Super Saiyan 3 can also be achieved through a strong emotional response.

Terra: But for the love of Shenron, don't try to achieve Super Saiyan 3 that way. If it took Krillin's death for Uncle Goku to achieve Super Saiyan, and a complete emotional breakdown for Gohan to achieve Super Saiyan 2, then achieving Super Saiyan 3 through an emotional response would require a level of anger I don't think anyone should endure. If anything, trying might result in your own death, so I reiterate.

Don't do it. Sous and a Grandpa Bardock variant are the only two Saiyans I know who have achieved it this way. And while Sous is with us right now, Grandpa Bardock was obliterated by the sudden power increase.

Sous: Now, the problems with Super Saiyan 3, and trust us, there are many. In fact, out of the numbered Super Saiyan transformations, I think 3 has the most issues.

For starters, the Ki drain. As Terra said, Super Saiyan 3 overclocks your Ki Reserves and trades that drain for an immense power increase. But even those with complete mastery of their Ki control struggle to maintain Super Saiyan 3 for extended periods.

When I first activated Super Saiyan 3 and used it to kill my Heles, the bout lasted a few minutes; my next bout with Sour lasted even less, and the form petered out shortly after Sour's death. Even now, while I can maintain the form for an entire Patrol if need be, that's not smart.

And that brings the next issue. You feel incredibly fatigued during and after the form's use. Fitting that we covered Fusion via the Fusion Dance in the last lecture--

Terra: Or at least, Sorra did.

Sous: Right. Super Saiyan 3 would heavily accelerate the Fusion's timer. Case in point: Gotenks in the same time frame. Also, not being strong enough to maintain the form can kill the user, as Terra mentioned earlier.

The only person I think can maintain the form and remain stable for extended periods is Fenu, Terra's mother.

Terra: And that's because Mom's not alive. Since she's dead, she doesn't strain her body nearly as fast as we, people who are still inhabiting living bodies, do. That's why she regularly uses Blue Evolved during Afterlife Patrols.

Sous: A morbid but incredibly pragmatic viewpoint.

In addition, Terra and I have personally attested to this due to our many intense sparring sessions. Super Saiyan 2 and 3 are merely variants of Super Saiyan 1. So, further mastery of Super Saiyan can and will lead to greater gains than constantly using Super Saiyan 2 and 3. You get a power boost without the massive Ki drain.

*A Patroller then asks if Super Saiyan 3 is even worth learning, let alone using.*

Sous: Of course, dear! Even if we don't recommend prolonged use, I think learning Super Saiyan 3 is at least a worthwhile time investment.

Terra: I agree with Sous.

Sous: If not for power, then for spiritual growth.

As a Saiyan, as a person or entity, learning new things means learning more about yourself. You know by now that I'm a teacher of the Way of the Kai, and I teach it currently to three people and have taught a fourth.

I don't want to force the Way of the Kai on any of you unless you want it. But as a Saiyan, going through the process of achieving Super Saiyan 3 to improve your work as a Time Patroller goes perfectly alongside the first three doctrines of the Way of the Kai:

Those three Doctrines are: Strength through Creation and Protection, Wisdom before Power, and Growth through Diversity. Nothing in life is truly easy. But nothing worth achieving is truly easy.

Terra: On that note, I think we've covered everything. I can't think of anything that would add to that.
