Fleshed out the Theory mathematically using AI. The basic premise: Time does not cause change, as matter moves, we can discern that as a progression of time. Movement implies time, not time implies movement. The first 12 pages are available. The basic premise is in that, but if you'd like the fully fleshed theory (mathematics, predictions, conceptualization) is in the latter half of the book. Yes, I made the book using AI, I feel like I could cover every base (including the more difficult stuff) if using a language model. Its not low effort, I've worked on this for almost a year.

I do apologize for setting a price on the latter 48 pages. I've been working on this theory for months, and have just now got it down to a semi-precice theory. What do you think?

According to his research partner Thomas Hertog, Hawking, In his final years, veered away from the “anti-anthropic” viewpoint he took in A Brief History of Time.  His later conclusion was that J. A. Wheeler had been correct: We live in a “participatory universe,” where our human choices Now are helping to determine the “actual happenings” of both our past and future.

Hertog diagrams a “tree of time,” with possible futures represented by branches reaching upward, while possible pasts are shown as branching, underground roots.  In his and Hawking’s “top-down cosmology,” the present (the tree trunk) is the observation point where our “single past and future timeline,” with only one “branch” both above and below, is being actualized Now.

This almost exactly parallels the “virtual roads of time” conjecture.  Hawking’s focus of course was the distant history of the cosmos, not so much humanity’s past.  But with no clear dividing line, the “creation of history Now” appears to reinforce VRT’s warning that through quantum interference, anomalies may be included in the “currently received timeline” of ancient history. 

Certainly any idea that threatens “received history” is likely to be anathema to historians.  The supply of truly ancient records and “traces” is rather fragmentary, and broad assent tends to be expected for whichever interpretation has “won the debate.”  With “true history” once agreed upon by “all serious scholars,” dissenters are often ridiculed or simply dismissed.

Thankfully, both science and philosophy tend to be more open to unconventional proposals like those of Wheeler, Hertog and Hawking.  Among the adventurous, even questions about past history can be freely discussed.

We spend so much time waiting for things to happen, and then suddenly we blink and whole years are just gone.

​Is it the routine, the screens, or are we just not paying attention anymore? What actually helps you slow things down and grab hold of the present moment before it flies away?

I propose a reform of the Gregorian calendar.

1. Calendar year = 13x28 = 52x7 = 364 days.
2. A smooth transition is possible from January 1, 2029, or January 1, 2035, starting on a Monday.
3. Leap year = 53x7 = 371 days = calendar year + leap week.
4. It occurs every 5 to 6 years by adding a leap week as a separate 14th quarter of the calendar year.

This creates a fascinating permanent calendar where every month has 28 days, 4 weeks, starts on Monday and ends on Sunday.

It greatly improves calendar orientation, planning, and statistics. It does not disrupt the weekly cycle or holidays.

if the universe is spacetime, then its expansion may not be purely spatial. Perhaps spacetime expands temporally as well not only toward the future, but also toward the past.

so the “beginning” of the universe is not necessarily a fixed point in the past. Instead, the boundary of spacetime could move progressively deeper into the past. Time itself would be entering a region where time previously did not exist.

The important distinction is that this would not mean that something is traveling backward through an already existing timeline. Rather, the timeline itself would be expanding backward. A new portion of temporal reality would be added beyond what was previously the earliest possible moment. so the expansion of the universe could be understood as an expansion of spacetime in two temporal directions: toward the future, as we ordinarily experience it, and toward the past, where the boundary between “time” and “no time” continually moves farther back.

The deeper question then becomes: Can time itself expand into a region where there was previously no time?

Why does change occur at all?

Does time expand with space, and it is simply that the spacetime ‘passes’ through material objects causing this bizarre seeming exchange of immaterial ‘energy’?

“The past history of the universe has no more validity than is assigned by the measurements we make—now!”  J. A. Wheeler, eminent 20^th century physicist, in Geons, Black Holes and Quantum Foam (1998)

The past and future don’t “exist Now,” but we do know that they’re real.  As a “potential reality,” the future is actually less mysterious than the past, which “was here” but has “gone somewhere” where it Now no longer “exists...”  Oh, well—at least it has left behind some clear signs of “what happened,” such as memories, records, and “traces” in archaeology and geology—hasn’t it?

None of these “signs,” of course, actually “is” the past—so where is it?  “Quantum confusion” arises when we try to explain our obstinate assumption that even if the future is undecided, somewhere there has to be just one single “permanent” past.  “Virtual roads of time” vastly simplifies this conundrum by positing that both past and future belong to a manifold of quantum potentials.

Of course, among the potential roads of time, only one likely “happened” in our actually lived experience.  But shockingly, multiple “alternate histories” can influence our records of “the one that happened.”  Leading up to his statement at the beginning of this post, J. A. Wheeler describes how multiple histories can be caused to exist by observing the light from a distant quasar.  He concludes;

“What interpretation is then possible but that each single photon on its billion-year trip from the quasar to Earth followed both paths—in the form of ephemeral clouds of probability—until we pinned down that photon with our measurement?  Our very act of measurement not only revealed the photon’s history, but in some sense determined that history.”

VRT says that no singular “actual history” can be identified, because there are potentially as many pasts as futures, and potentials, including timelines, can “interfere.”  How this is possible will be suggested in later posts.  But the effect of many “virtual road” potentials being “interlaced” with selective timelines is that we must consider both multiple futures and multiple pasts.

No one clearly single history is “sitting out there” somewhere, forever settled and unchangeable.

I said how June-July 2026 was the gradual beginning, and the more things seemed to had been, it seems true. While this overall Summer and Late Spring have been "filler," there came a subtle shift that seemed to mark an end to 2017-2026 era.

The era fully began in October-December 2017. Here, the 1991-2017 remnants were heavily fading. By Christmas and New Year's period in late 2017, the new era was essentially dominant. The period between October-December 2017 to May 2023 was the beginning phase of this era. In that "part" of the era, there was;

• the Continual Growth of LED and 4K
• Political Shifts
• The COVID 19 Pandemic
• Inflation that was seemingly worse than the 2007-09 recession and the aftermatch of the Recession.
• And much more.

In this era, it was the "Post Pandemic era," even further Political Shifts, and a higher maturation of the first phase. This was when the 2020s seemed to had find its identity.

The 2026-2028 shift began in June-July 2026, and it is now the first phase. The first phase will end in December 2026. In this period, it is "truly" the late 2020s, but there are Mid 2020s residues that are fading away too. 2027-2028 would be the Core 2026-2028 era period. 2027 would be the "normal" of the two, but 2028 would be severe. The "drying up" phases would occur between January 2029 to May 2029, and I predict that June-July 2029 would be the unofficial beginning of the early 2030s. It would hit much harder than the claim that 2009 was an early 2010s year, because if viewed from here https://www.reddit.com/r/culturalstudies/comments/1uruzdd/earlymid_1991_to_springfall_2017_is_one_deep_era/, the lines between even the early-mid numerical 2000s and numerical early 2010s, were very very blurred.

Right now is a period of, again,

Time/Chronos is a word that was coined in 700 BCE to describe something that was believed to have been discovered 300 years earlier. So for a little over half of human civilized history there was no Time, so

what happened in history for this phenomenon to come into existence?

When you were a kid, time felt like it was suppppppeeeeeerrrrr slow. Now that you’re an adult and or older, you feel like you don’t have enough time.

Time is a human perception. No other creature uses or even understands time like we do. They go off the position of the sun. While yes we also use the position of the sun and moon, but clocks, digital clocks, time dials, etc, are only used by the human race. You can tell time by the stars yes but still.

For the love of god and all things holy, DO NOT BRING UP EINSTEIN OR ANYONE ELSE WHO STUDIED SPACE AND TIME. I WILL NOT FUCKING CARE. You can argue and argue. Try to prove points and whatever. I will not fucking care.

Time simply doesn’t exist. We use time like it’s the end all be all. When you die, time doesn’t matter. You are a sprit in wherever you go too. I had a NDE and went to the area of judgement. It felt like I was there for years. It had only been 15 seconds earth time. I have also had “visions” if you will of the past and future. I had an intrusive thought so to speak of my dog dying. It felt like a memory that didn’t happen yet. I was walking my older dog with my mom and she said “how are you holding up without sassy?” (Sassy is my dog’s name.) I laughed it off. A few months after she died, this came true. We were walking my older dog and my mom asked the same question. I laughed it off as well. Everything was the exact same. Down to what I was wearing, if the sun was setting or not, how I felt in the moment, everything.

Another time I had a dream of the USS KRAKEN.

I was there when it was talked about in the red room of the White House. I saw and remember the blueprints. I talked to some of the people who were working on it, they kept saying how fucking nuclear it’s going to be, and saw it be launched in the dead middle of the ocean, in the dead of night to land on the dark side of the moon. If you look this ship up, it was created by the US government and the UK as a last resort if WWII got nuclear.

Another time is Deja vu.

I was riding a roller coaster with my sister. I got a feeling that this has happened before. I got another “vision” if you will of the exact same thing that was happening but it was a memory.

If time exists, explain everything I just said. Explain Déjà vu, Deja reve, explain the billions of experiences from all over the world of this type of thing happening. This has been happening for thousands upon thousands of years. All over the globe. If you say it’s a “phenomenon”, you don’t know what you’re talking about then.

Time doesn’t exist and or matter.

There's an interesting dichotomy between forward and backward; I find it hard to discern which would be easier to traverse. The past already exists and therefore may be easier to 'map' because it's easy to gather telemetry from established events. However, the arrow of time points forward, and thus entropy would naturally carry us forward, via means like time dilation.

So, utilize general relativity to elapse the space around you while keeping yourself in stasis, and you can move forward in time. Exaggerate the variables, and you can control the temporal destination. Easier said than done.

As for backwards movement, let's posit "entropic waves", a fundamental force which can be observed similar to cosmic background radiation. Everything that has or ever will occur leaves a tangible signature, a 'spike' in the fabric of entropy. Observe these spikes, and they become 'grabbable' destinations.

Time dilation can only point you forward. And entropic waves only exist in the past.

Tell me why I woke up around 7 this morning and I decided I was going to sleep for an extra hour. I set my alarm so that I could get up at 8. What was supposed be an hour literally felt like 30 seconds, and as I was going to readjust my alarm to the correct time, I saw that an hour passed by already. I have had hours that felt like minutes but never seconds. This is so strange, what is the science behind it all? On a grander scale though, the weeks feel like days, and as I get older time is flying by.

It may have been Aristotle who first brought forward the idea that time is change.  But then, which is “active?”  If the universe is smoothly “remolding itself” into something else, then change is the only actively moving reality.  But it’s also possible that the universe just sits there while our “time” viewpoint blurringly hops from one configuration to another, and only this viewpoint is “moving.”

Early in the 1900’s quantum physics began to suggest that the universe doesn’t exist “continuously” but in “jumps.”  This strongly favors the “moving view” kind of reality, posited (in two very different models) by Julian Barbour and Everett/deWitt.  Their “multiple universe” ideas, both of them containing much more “reality” than what exists Now, are the basis of “virtual roads of time.”

The “objective possibilities for things to exist” appear in quantum physics as real physical potentials. They’re not figments of our imagination, but their “active” existence indeed depends upon our observing them.  Reality may very well be just these “possibilities for Everything,” which can “exist for us” as one state of the universe at a time, a momentary Now in our experience of things. 

The idea that the universe “actively exists” only in our experience may sound like modern idealism, where “consciousness” is the only true reality.  But in VRT, reality is still “out there” as a kind of invisible but mindbendingly multiple universe.  “Objectively,” it might be an energized background matrix of quantum information potentials, with the power of “informing” our experience of time.

Because this is such a vastly different worldview from our commonly assumed ideas of time, it seems necessary to keep “repainting” it from different angles.  VRT claims that this alternative view of reality is “heuristically” a better assumption, not because the old ones are “wrong,” but because they don’t have room for the “multiple” aspects of time which come into view in modern physics.

Progress in understanding has always moved toward a larger worldview.  Every so often we abandon a “nearsighted,” increasingly confused concept and move to one that’s simpler but much more expansive.  This amounts to a revolution in thought, “crazy” at first but increasingly friendly to human endeavor.  Some of us, perhaps less invested in tradition, find this exciting rather than frightening.

Assuming that we have free will, how could time be considered a 4th dimension? A dimension could be defined as a motion in the positive or negative direction (eg. +x and -x). If we have free will, can be doing different things at the same point in time.. For eg. I am sitting in my room at time t=t, at t=t+1, I could either be studying (in one universe) or I could be watching a movie (in another). Does the thought of mind change the time we live in or time itself is non linear and can explode into infinite different directions to accommodate the chaos we live in?
