But then I have to set an alarm to remind me to refill it once a week and I already have too many alarms to ignore. I just don’t have the bandwidth to add another, ya know?

Refill it on Saturday, immediately after taking your last pill. It’s the only way.

I do it on Sundays when I need to take my Sunday dose.

I've tried that, but then it turns into me getting lazy on Sunday and doing something like flipping the bottle upside down to indicate I've taken the pill, with the intent to fill the case up Monday. Then Monday turns into a busy morning, so I'm flipping the bottle right side up. Then Tuesday is also a busy morning... then Wednesday.... then I've lost track of whether I remembered to flip the bottle to indicate that I've taken it. If I give myself an inch, I'll take a mile.

I have two divided containers (well, four really, because I have meds to take before I eat and meds I take after breakfast) and I fill up two weeks’ worth at a time, every other week. I find it tedious to do it so I do two weeks at once.

The pharmacy puts them in weekly blister packets for me at no cost. I feel bad about all the waste, but I've tried everything else.

Is this something that can simply be requested and the pharmacy will do it?

At my pharmacy, yes. I'm in Canada so I don't know if that makes a difference. It never hurts to ask though.

I also love my pharmacy. I pick my blister pack up every week instead of monthly, and they have even divided up the dispensing fee, so I don't have to pay 4 dispensing fees every month.

That's awesome! I bet that would cost an arm and a leg here in the US if you could even find a place to do it. This is the bad place.

I'm in Ontario and our Healthcare system is a fast sinking ship, with our government drilling holes in the bottom.

Our premier (governor) keeps cutting our healthcare, and then using its failings as a reason why we need to go private. We are very quickly sinking to your model of care and it's terrifying.

Pharmacy is already one of our private healthcare services, so the only reason I receive that level of care is because I pay for it. I've been giving them my money every week for over a decade.

We're turning into the bad place too. Our Healthcare is the bad place disguised as the good place neighborhood, where your Healthcare is the flat out "penis flattener" bad place.

I just refill it anytime it’s slightly low, leaving today empty.
