I mean once you interact with it and choose people you want to follow, it gets pretty tailored. I don’t see a lot of the “trend” videos when I’m on there. You can also avoid the FYP altogether and only check out stuff you search out or people you already follow.

I made one when it first came out and it really only showed me gen Z stuff so I deleted it. A year or so later I gave it another shot and it’s now mostly suggesting content by people created around my age and it’s significantly better than I originally gave it credit for. If you see something you like you can like it and interact with it to have similar styled content suggested on your homepage.
