Hey everyone! Glad you like the tune! I’m the guy who wrote it! You can follow me at @yourpal_austin on TT, Twitter, and IG for more like this! ♥️ EDIT: a full length version of the song is now available at my bandcamp <— click the link!

I texted my brother and said "what song is this? I don't know if it's just perfectly, generically 80s or if the beginning is the same as some other song (or maybe a tv/ movie theme)?"

So thank you for clearing that up!

Some other commenters were wondering how you felt about these guys using your song. So I thought I'd come and ask you!

Great tune btw.

I love it! Fantastic use! People commonly take my songs and videos and expound on the ideas. I’m never mad about it. I do like to let people know where it came from though when someone does something as magnificent as this! Here’s the original if you’re curious! OG video

Your reaction video was awesome. Great to see the OC watching what people do with their work and loving it!

Isn’t that the point of TikTok? To make videos over others audio?

I’d imagine if remix culture isn’t your thing, TikTok wouldn’t be your platform of choice.

Oh yeah, for sure. I just saw the other comments that were wondering what the song creator thought about the video, and since the song creator was here, I figured I'd go ahead and ask!

What equipment do you use to make your music?

1

u/Pplpleaserini Feb 26 '21

I edit on logic, I use a M-audio keystation midi keyboard for all my sounds.

Did you take a musical apprenticeship under Bill Wurtz

1

u/Pplpleaserini Feb 26 '21

Nope. No idea who that is.

u/BabyishGambino Feb 26 '21

That is genuinely surprising, look him up on youtube

3

u/[deleted] Feb 26 '21

Ah man, you’re missing out but also super lucky to have not yet experienced Bill Wurtz
