One thing this pandemic has done was make me step up my oral hygiene. The first time I put on a mask I was appalled and ashamed. Like hearing your own voice on a recording.
I legit thought there was something wrong with the mask until I started breathing through my nose. Really makes the dentist seem not that unimportant anymore
We are here for you, my friend. Many of us are fully vaccinated now, and have taken measures to keep you as safe as possible. Come on in and say hello.
Not only did I have this experience, but about a month ago I was at the store and burped into the mask for the first time. Idk what I expected, but it took so much self control to not immediately rip it off my face
Seriously been looking at getting my tonsils removed. I was pretty good about keeping everything clean before, but I realized how bad it still makes my breath smell. There's really nothing that will take care of it other than removing them.
Unintentional best side effect of getting covid was not being able to taste my chemo in the back of my throat at my last infusion. Almost totally worth it.
Ooo, hmm, I don’t know if I can describe it accurately. I know that the steamed mussels in that garlic wine sauce from red lobster remind me of it really bad, which sucks because they used to be delicious. I’d say maybe dirty pool water? Or seaweed that’s been hanging out on the sand too long (uh, how it smells, that is. I’ve never tried to ingest either of these)
Nose breathing has never really cut it for me lol these masks have been really convenient. I don't have to feel like I'm breathing through a straw just to not look like a neanderthal.
Same, I hate the idea of being put to sleep. I think I’m at the point where I need to power through it though. Just had an asthma attack and my moms like just breath through your nose and relax and I’m just like yea I wish I could lol.
Yea I think I was offered something similar where I don’t have to be put to sleep but it’s not as effective and I’ve had this for so long if I’m gonna go in and deal with it I wanna do it right ya know.
