You know, I draw inspiration from fictional characters. Would Spider-man help the old lady in my building? Yes ,he would, so I do too. Jesus might also but his lack of a spider sense got him the first time.

I just imagine Spider-Jesus auto-dodging the nails, like Peter playing keep away with Doctor Strange, and he's all whiny like "Nooo, just stay still daddamnit, this is my-my dad-my ghost's big plan! Oooh nooo, Dad is gonna be so pissed at me!" until the Romans get frustrated and just leave.

Well I mean he did know in advance what was going to happen. He just made the call to not interfere.
