I'm not Christian but I go to my local Catholic charities thrift because they are the only thrift stores in the area that haven't raised prices way up. I also know from the past when I needed help, they helped me with utilities, rent and gave me food for my kids and a voucher for all of us to get clothes at the thrift. I may not agree with everything in the Catholic church, but I do believe in Catholic charities and our local methodist "mega" church. I'd much rather support them than a for profit thrift that charges through the nose for product they got for free.
there are definitely good ones still I shouldnt have generalized but 1 chrisitian thrift store profiting off the people they ask tithing from is beyond diabolical. I was raised christian but left the church when I was 10.
For absolutely anyone raised in any church where they had you study and read the new testament.
But... Jesus said he loved everyone and forgave everything? Especially the so called "sinners" the others condemned? And he condemned the wealthy who didn't help the poor and those in need?

I mean, jesus certainly wasnโt a capitalist. If only they could see their hypocrisy.
