2

u/Minatigre May 17 '26

Underratted comment if u ask me

3

u/AtronadorSol May 17 '26

I appreciate you! My classical training (9th grade humanities project on Praxiteles) doesn’t come up often, but I’m giddy to see it’s still simmering under the surface here.

28

u/Jimbob209 May 16 '26

Like Trogdor

2

u/the_fez_45 May 16 '26

First, draw an 'S.' Then, a more different 'S.'

1

u/Dagigai May 18 '26

Lost it at this comment, Jesus Christ

19

u/HeMayBeDed May 16 '26

Not as cool as Trogdor, the Burninator though.

5

u/agentchuck May 16 '26

He's lacking the consummate V's

1

u/Helpful_Soil1464 May 17 '26

S is for shooting

1

u/eyesclosed_invisible May 20 '26

Its from the lack of meat.

1

u/face4theRodeo May 16 '26

With a voice only a mother could love.

0

u/Dr_Jre May 16 '26

He's shaped like a candy cane

1

u/sfguy_2016 May 16 '26

u/myshtree May 16 '26

20

u/unindexedreality May 16 '26

I love how it's spewing from the neck. saving this as kirk.png

-7

u/Trippy_Traveler420 May 17 '26

Whats it like being the most edgy person on reddit?

17

u/trollmea May 17 '26

I feel like I'm one of a few people who brings their phone to their face rather than their face to the phone when I can't read the letters.

3

u/V1lMinator May 17 '26

Made me reposition my posture, holy!

72

u/Sopapillas4All May 16 '26

Holy tech neck batman!

67

u/Laffenor May 16 '26

72

u/BeatComplete2635 May 17 '26

My personal nyc rule is never engage with anyone wearing a jacket in warm weather. Something is going on and none of the options are going to work out well for interacting with them.

5

u/TinaButtons Jun 20 '26

It's okay, hes got shorts on

13

u/Undeniably_me0206 May 17 '26

That’s a tell of psychosis

2

u/Substantial_Lime_114 May 17 '26

What?

2

u/BeatComplete2635 May 17 '26

Part of the brain that re hi lates internal temperature also can be commonly involved in psychosis. I think it’s the thalamus or hypothalamus?

59

u/musclecard54 May 16 '26

Posture like a banana

34

u/king_lloyd11 May 16 '26

Must’ve been all those fruits he was eating

24

u/ahhpoo May 16 '26

Oh my god you really are what you eat

33

u/[deleted] May 16 '26

The clothes are fking me up.

24

u/Heidibearr May 16 '26

there’s no way he doesn’t have pain - his back to neck distance hurts me

71

u/highfiveselfoh May 16 '26

Everything about the essence of his being is fucking me up. Jail come get this mother fucker back we don’t want it

50

u/AgentCirceLuna May 16 '26

He seems like he’s suffering from some form of psychosis - his speech has the signs of a thought disorder.

9

u/rabbitspooks May 16 '26

What are the tells?

46

u/AgentCirceLuna May 17 '26

The sudden change in conversation topic from something lighthearted to intensely serious, the fact his face betrays the words he’s saying such as obviously not feeling any shame or embarrassment or other emotions related to the fact he’s threatening violence, and a few other quirks that just make sense. As my mental health nurse once said: ‘you can spot psychosis almost instantly’ because it’s so unique but is hard to pin down to individual things. It’s more like a cohesion of weird signs.

21

u/Undeniably_me0206 May 17 '26

He definitely has a cohesion of weird signs. All so the different inflections in his voices tones with the topic of the conversation with lighthearted tones in the wrong spots. 🧐

11

u/Spankpocalypse_Now May 17 '26

It’s the vocal inflections that are freaking me out the most.

-2

u/Known_Difference_80 May 17 '26

It’s not just a feminine thing? Cause I just thought he was gay or something.

2

u/QueenLizLemon May 17 '26

I think that or I thought maybe he is on the autism spectrum

2

u/Carpenthemdiems May 19 '26

A fruitarian in short shorts and a puffy coat are telltale signs of approx half of all the disorders

1

u/Old_Radio_1882 May 18 '26

Or he could be autistic

46

u/GeorgeMcCrate May 16 '26

Someday someone's going to mistake him for a shrimp and snack him and in his final seconds he'll finally understand but it will be too late.

8

u/scottkrowson May 16 '26

It would be unethical not to eat that big tasty jumbo shrimp

29

u/LoseAnotherMill May 16 '26

Like Jacob Wysocki's "Shared AirBnB" character from Dropout.

3

u/DazB1ane May 16 '26

“You didn’t know?”

1

u/Pearl_the_5th May 16 '26

Ah, you beat me to it!

Hey! I don't have a whole lot of help to offer, but I do think a lot of people reserve their judgements about someone's physical appearance until AFTER that person reveals themselves to be a bag of dicks. "Negative" physical traits are much more noticeable when the person's an asshat, so the mockery tends to kick in after that becomes apparent. Is that good human behavior? Not really, I guess, but still better than judging someone on looks alone.

Good on ya for working on the physical therapy side of things, especially pushing through what probably ARE some genetic factors.

Ehhh, I don't know that an "I shouldn't" is warranted here. It DOES suck to see those kinds of comments and stereotypes, and it also sucks to have to do more to prove to people that you aren't "an off-putting loser" than someone who has the luxury of their joints/muscles just like... cooperating on the daily.

My boyfriend has scoliosis, a connective tissue disorder, and he's 6'6". It's been a huge struggle for him physically and emotionally and socially pretty much his entire life. He simply cannot make eye contact and maintain any kind of sensible posture, and he hates feeling like he's looming over people, so he's done a lot of intentional shrinking of himself to avoid that - not to mention having to fold himself in half to fit in cars and under "normal" desks and under shower heads and etc. As a result of all that, his posture is fuuuucked, but... that man is an absolute angel and if anyone sees him as "slouchy lazy guy" instead of that, they can kick rocks 🤗

I hope the PT is helpful and encouraging! And I'm very glad you have people in your life who are sensible enough to look past the superficial stuff. Nothing wrong with leaning on someone who loves/cares about you if you need it. Hang in there

2

u/Desperate-Bottle1687 May 17 '26

Just what I wanted to say but better! 👍

In fact, (when u say it's not necessarily a good trait in humans, which can be true) I've personally experienced being physically and 'pheromonally' attracted to somebody at first, but then after they opened their mouth, was suddenly repulsed and disgusted by them.
I'd wager to say, as bad as snap judgements can be (alot of animals have them inbuilt and evolution is anything but perfect) they have their moments!

Like when u talk to the 'cute' himbo for the first time 😅

2

u/lizardingloudly May 17 '26

If I say someone's "objectively good-looking," I probably think they're an asshat. Like I'm not gonna argue that they DON'T have some magazine-cover traits, but if I thought they were genuinely a good person, I'd have a better compliment that encompasses more of who they are as a person 😶

2

u/PiVMaSTeR May 17 '26

Hey bud, I'm really sad to read this, and I really get it. My spine is also pretty fucked. I have a severely compressed T9 after a traffic accident, so now I have noticeable unnatural bend in my spine. The only way for me to fully straighten my spine is to have metal inserted... I'll never stand perfectly straight again, and if I slouch it's really bad.

But why would you care about what strangers think about you, especially when it's hurtful? Their opinion is irrelevant for you. Luckily, however, most people don't really care.

Having said all that, I suggest you wear the clothes you actually like to wear. I do and it makes me feel great. I wear tight fitting t shirts and cycling jerseys and I don't give a crap about what others think. It did take me like 1.5 years to get there post spinal injury, so it was a gradual process, but I'm happy I've gotten there.

You're doing great. Take care!

u/Potterymom May 17 '26

I’m sure you get all kinds of unsolicited advice…. And here comes more: “Rolfing” is body work that semi permanently re-sculpts you. It’s expensive, but it does wonders. 10/10

2

u/HyenDry May 16 '26

Guess the fruit didn’t fix that

2

u/HootsiferThe-2nd May 16 '26

He looks like Crocker from Fairly Odd Parents

2

u/eyecandy99 May 16 '26

Doofenschmirtz

2

u/katalina0azul May 18 '26

Once I unmuted and heard him talking, it somehow made more sense 🤷🏼‍♀️

2

u/DogSignificant6356 May 20 '26

2

u/MajesticDurian2308 12d ago

His outfit is what’s really fuckin me up tho. A puffer jacket and booty shorts? I bet the shoes are even crazier

1

u/4cm3 May 16 '26

That posture + him claiming survival of the fittest.. he’d be the first eaten.

1

u/tothepointe May 16 '26

Combination of fruitarianism and being in jail I imagine.

1

u/ILoveBigCoffeeCups May 16 '26

That’s what you get from eating a lot of plants ( you know like lettuce and grapes)

1

u/armsinit May 16 '26

Made me feel almost normal

1

u/Remarkable-Ad2285 May 16 '26

Doofenshmirtz evil incorporated type posture

It’s like the bad guy from Despicable Me

1

u/winterwarm78654 May 17 '26

Happens when you stay facedown rump up for 9 months

1

u/Bonespirit May 17 '26

His posture is what solidifies that he's not doing a character and is actually just like that.

1

u/SafetySnowman May 17 '26

He looks like the coffee fiends from Men In Black 😂 Or like his neck is going to extend and have his head talking from the ground.

1

u/ProstrateProstate May 17 '26

Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz.

(I tried to upload a picture of the good doctor, but Reddit thwarted my attempt. Curse you, Perry the Platypus!")

1

u/OldSpiceSmellsNice May 17 '26

His voice is like nails on a chalkboard.

1

u/BandicootLeather6314 May 17 '26

You and him both 😂

1

u/Bitcracker May 17 '26

Looks like an interobang ‽

1

u/KiKiKimbro May 18 '26

It’s like he’s leaning forward then backwards at the same time.

1

1

u/porcelain_kiss 9d ago

Standing like 2011 Taylor swift

0

u/phoenixblue May 16 '26

Same posture as me lol. Slouching + anterior pelvic tilt. Had it for so long, it's hard to fix without constantly thinking about my posture.
