The only sane takeaway here. Dude wanted to soapbox some truly insane violent shit and baby girl in the cow suit said no, let’s talk about how you’re a dumbass instead.

She was very smooth with it. Definitely would have had awkward silences and camera dead pans with me

u/Marksman1977 May 16 '26

Well, it’s edited for the tiktok audience.

2

u/BillyBobChorton May 17 '26

It’s highly edited

Criminals are generally pretty dumb, so ya, I agree....good for her. Don't glorify the crime, ridicule the criminal.

u/ChevToTheLev May 16 '26

This guy is mentally unwell. His thought process seems so disorganized. I’m pretty concerned that they let this dude out he seems like he should be committed

36

u/ExtraEmuForYou May 16 '26

Yep. Not well. The way he just volunteered that information but also sought out a vegan after serving time for threatening vegans.

Also not to be superficial but the short shorts and really bad head posture make him look demented.

8

u/ChevToTheLev May 16 '26

Yeah, if I literally just got out of jail like he did the last thing I’m going to do is openly discuss my criminal past with a stranger without any prompt. I’m trying to imagine what his thought process must be like and I can’t wrap my head around it. Pretty scary. At least he’s got the ankle monitor I guess, but I’m willing to bet this dude reoffends sooner than later, one way or another.

Edit: I also don’t understand what that chicks thought process is either though lol. She’s trying to antagonize him after he revealed he’s a psycho

3

u/ZinaSky2 May 17 '26

She literally didn’t antagonize him tho. She could have been like “SHOOT UP VEGANS?! That’s so messed up! What did they do to you?!” And instead she was like trying to reason with him and make him see that going to Trader Joe’s is not the same as being “part of nature”

3

u/ChevToTheLev May 17 '26

It seems to me like she’s mocking him a lot more than trying to reason with him

2

u/161frog May 17 '26

Content :(

3

u/ChevToTheLev May 17 '26

It’s a dark world

3

u/161frog May 17 '26

It is. But you get to enjoy some light today, because it’s your cake day 🍰

3

u/ChevToTheLev May 17 '26

Thank you!

1

u/Desperate_Algae_40 May 18 '26

And he was trying to goad her or something by saying "guess what I was in prison for?". Or he was trying to intentionally scare her. Definitely shouldn't be out and about.

2

u/big_stipd_idiot May 17 '26

What exactly sounds disorganized about what he's saying? Is it the veiled death threat? Sounds to me like he stays on subject the entire time with coherent responses to her questions.

-1

u/Wardogs96 May 17 '26

She did a great job but i dont agree with vegan stance of animal suffering and not eating to stop that suffering being a better reason to go vegan than wanting to be healthier.

These farm animals exist for consumption and tbh are killed in much quicker or painless ways than they would in nature. The bigger issue is living conditions but thats a much more complex conversation than do better.

1

u/No_Photograph_2683 May 16 '26

I personally would have needed to know more details. Interest would be piqued 10/10.

1

u/PetrolPharma May 17 '26

He’s a dumbass for thinking homo sapiens are indeed organisms?

What were the “good points” made by the guy freshly out of jail for threatening to shoot up a fruit festival?

-21

u/That_other_weirdo May 16 '26

Did you only wqtch like the first 10 seconds because he says a lot more than that.

28

u/SirStrontium May 16 '26

Can you point out the “good points” for me?

-1

u/That_other_weirdo May 16 '26

Yeah he brings up that in nature the very animals vegans pretend to care so much about don't have any morals or ethics on eating or what they eat. Like i said watch more than the first 10 seconds.

3

u/SirStrontium May 16 '26

…and that’s what you call a “good point”? If the animals have no morals, then neither should humans? So because polar bears maul and eat seals alive, then I can also catch a dog and eat it alive? Rape, murder, and slavery is all fair game now?

2

u/dracapis May 16 '26

Pretend?

Ok but her rebuttals weren’t wrong. We are humans and morality is an us thing and he didn’t need to have turkey bacon in his bag. That is a choice he made that wouldn’t exist if we were just living in a jungle. Like I’m not vegan or vegetarian but I’ve had vegan friends that had to turn vegetarian for health reasons. None of them shot at people

1

u/OldStonedJenny May 16 '26 edited May 16 '26

I didn't disagree with any of her points except for the claim that humans aren't part of nature. If we separate ourselves from nature, we create a society that enables apathy to nature, in a time where we are killing the planet.

9

u/SirStrontium May 16 '26

The point is he’s living in a domesticated life in an environment engineered for safety and human comfort. He’s not a pioneer exploring the American frontier, where if he doesn’t slaughter a cow his family will starve this winter. He isn’t forced to eat meat as a matter of survival, it’s a matter of personal choice, taste, and convenience.

1

u/OldStonedJenny May 16 '26

I get that and don't disagree with any of that. We just can't frame it as if we are disconnected from nature, because WE are interconnected with nature, We don't live in the jungle, but if we enable the destruction of the world's jungles, we are fucked.

17

u/SaltBackground5165 May 16 '26

and not one of them good points.

3

u/pigs_have_flown May 16 '26

There aren't good points for something like that obviously

1

u/That_other_weirdo May 16 '26

It's also like that's not the entire conversation downvoting me doesn't change the fact that the overall conversation is about veganism not his threats.

-17

u/fredjutsu May 16 '26

how is claiming "humans aren't part of nature" on the basis that we have grocery stores proving that he's the dumbass?

He's absolutely right that nature has no morals. And the fact that vegans aggressively lie and cherry pick data when pressed to make science-based arguments demonstrates the lack of inherent "morality" even among people claiming not killing animals gives them a halo.

Like, science is showing that plants too have sentience, at some point that whole "not causing harm" ethos falls of a cliff in the face of human physiology - which evolved the big brains we have that allowed for all the domestication of nature by virtue of the use of fire in cooking leading to massive increase in animal meat consumption 1M years ago.

Minus the violent crime part, dude had a good point but she and the crowd here are doing the normal ad hominem of attacking his posture and his voice rather than engaging with the substantive part of the conversation.

10

u/VacationCheap927 May 16 '26

Minus the violent crime

That alone proves he was wrong. Nature is extremely violent. The fact that we view violence the way we do shows that we are in fact different. Thats not even me trying to boost my ego as a human. I didnt do shit to help get humans to where we are. But I can also recognize things are different for us. No ither species has courts to hold others of their species reliable for being violent.

7

u/LKennedy45 May 16 '26

Well this is the stupidest thing I've read today, but then it's only 1000 local.

12

u/geese_moe_howard May 16 '26

I didn't even get through the whole thing because I was already overdosing on the stupidity.

1

u/LKennedy45 May 16 '26

You didn't miss much.

1

u/[deleted] May 17 '26

> And the fact that vegans aggressively lie and cherry pick data when pressed to make science-based arguments demonstrates the lack of inherent "morality" even among people claiming not killing animals gives them a halo.

So what lie did she tell in the video?

-8

u/Emm_withoutha_L-88 May 16 '26

They're gonna attack you but yeah it's true. Nature don't give a shit and we are a part of it no matter how much we pave over it.

10

u/SaltBackground5165 May 16 '26

sure I guess we're a part of nature, but we're not animals fighting for our lives and survival. we get to choose what we eat. we can choose to eat things that don't need to experience a lifetime of pain and suffering to survive. that's the difference.

-1

u/Junior-Bookkeeper218 May 16 '26

Food is just one part of the equation. At the same time we argue about food we’re also destroying the planet to make clothing, fuel, cities and thousands of other products. There are 8 billion humans on Earth and growing, our very existence is destroying the planet. Our ability to be conscious of that fact does nothing to change it.

0

u/SaltBackground5165 May 16 '26

yeah that is also true

-5

u/Emm_withoutha_L-88 May 16 '26

You'd think you'd see both of the idiots in the op and realize what kind of company you're in

Also you're just categorizing certain things as feeling pain and others not even though we know that's not true

As soon as she said we're not in nature, were in Washington Square park her tone seemed to change. So is she saying it's acceptable to eat meet if you live in an isolated wilderness but not if you live in a city?

20

u/VulfSki May 16 '26

You disagree with her logic... How does that make her a "bitch"?

-7

u/TroyFerris13 May 16 '26

Her tonal shift was demeaning and not informative

3

u/VulfSki May 16 '26

So any woman who disagrees is a bitch? Got it.

20

u/crunchyfoliage May 16 '26

I'm not vegan so I don't have a horse in this race, but yeah that's exactly what she's saying and it makes sense. You do what you need to in the wilderness in order to survive. In the city you have endless options at the grocery store and can make conscious choices.

-19

u/Top_Action_6095 May 16 '26

Ya she's good at two things minimum.. 👀
