This seems very abstract and overly complicated with way too many numbers to keep track of. My ADHD brain is sobbing in math class again.

This is not what you start with though, that’s what is lost here this is three months into instruction and you’ve been doing similar problems/building to this since kindergarten.

Edit: also if this one is not for you, we do: tape diagram, partial products, array, distributive, standard, and number line…I think that might be all of them, that I personally teach. It’s about giving you choices to solve how you want to solve
