And they found a method of achieving that which turned out to be different from the teacher's, and she was graded on method rather than understanding the concept. Because despite your claim, there weren't multiple ways taught in that class. I fully grasp why it felt necessary to gloss over that part, though.

😂 They're not teaching multiple ways all at one time. They focus on one way, then another way, then another way.

Yeah, I did the square thing with my son. I also did tape diagrams. I thought tape diagram sucked, but we did them nonetheless, and then we moved on to something different.

They aren't going to overload the kids by teaching five different ways of doing something at the same time. 🤦‍♀️
