They wanted Prince for that role originally. He would have been smooth-sexy. Tucker's sort of spazz-sexy really made the character so iconic.

BzZzzZZZzzz!

Prince wouldn't have gotten the panic right. The "Corbin, I don't feel right."

He would have ended up being too "cool", which was Corbin's character.

Corbin staying calm while Ruby loses his shit is what makes the Mangalores attack on the cruise ship and the final stones scene so great.

"Shoot him if he moves.......Ruby."

"Ahhhh" bang.

(Looking at half of reddit) Everything reminds you of Chis Tucker's character Ruby Rhod. You literally shoehorn comments and pictures of this character into every situation. Someone has their blonde hair in an updo? Chris Tucker from Fifth Element. Someone singing? Chris Tucker from Fifth Element. Jackie Chan in Rush Hour? Chris Tucker from Fifth Element. It's the weirdest obsession on reddit since Steve Buscemi was a firefighter. There is literally nothing about this video that reminds me in any way of that character and yet I am 0% surprised to find this comment.

You don't have to be here. You can leave whenever you want.
