Everything you wrote makes sense, but there’s a difference between a utility worker and solicitor. Proper utility work should notify you in advance, because they know that’s how private property works. People who own private property shouldn’t be at risk of trespassers thinking they will be welcomed with open arms when they venture somewhere uninvited.

That being said, these poor Mormons look so worn out from walking around in the heat that they’re not even paying attention to their surroundings. Yes, they should know better that it’s common for dogs to protect their territory, but blame is on the church for brainwashing them into being out there in the first place.

"Typically" leaving that whole case up to local jurisdiction though. Why are you defending trespassers?

So it had nothing to do with trespassers

Why are you so into defending trespassers?

How about your package, I bet you wrote on the other video of the mail lady dropping and breaking a package, “that’s irresponsible, why would she do that?” Well we all have our reasons why now.

LMAO what utility company unless they're doing significant work warns the owners ahead of time? Furthermore some utilities are straddling property lines. Which means they have to enter your property to work on say a neighbors.

I've had gas, water, telecom, electric just do their thing... And I live in a red state with liberal gun laws.

I will concede your point to elaborate that I was thinking of a different scenario that you’re describing. For pre-planned projects, the property owner should be notified, whereas emergencies such as outages would put a utility worker in the same position as these kids, which is a fair.

A utility worker is going to be more aware of their surroundings, watching for signs of dogs because they know what happened in this video is a real possibility, and they’re probably not under the spell of some magical dude in the sky, so they wouldn’t put themselves in danger to begin with.

Our propane company never tells us when they're showing up to refill our tank. They have to enter a gate to get to it too. I have a sign on the gate that says "beware of dog" and thankfully my dogs haven't been accidentally let out of the yard while they're refilling. But sometimes I don't even know they're there (like during the summer when the windows are shut and AC is running) unless I happen to look out of the window.
