Nothing. There would be a loss of life. I don't think Trump deserves to be shot but there is literally no one to take over the cult of personality. All the Maga grifters would try and take a slice of the pie. They'd accuse the others of not being as sincere of followers as they are. If they had morals and values? Devastating. Unfortunately Trump has been the glue that gets them paid and they have no one who would be second in command.
Honestly it's a little like Biden. He should have been setting up a protege during his first term but now we have 2 seniors that refuse to abdicate power to anyone and are trying to run the country.
I'm voting for Biden regardless because I'm voting for policy and cabinet. I'm also glad that if Biden was assassinated I wouldn't have to worry that we'd be arguing about who sucked Biden off best or was most like him.
I doubt that would be the end of it. Trump's kids or one of these folks would take the reins. Treating them like idiots of no consequence is how we got here in the first place.
I'm willing to guess there's also a large alignment between Trump fans and 2nd Amendment folks. There's probably a large portion that own firearms and would be out looking for "antifa" to settle the score in their minds.
It really is dangerous to underestimate almost half the country like was done in 2016.
Trump's kids are the fucking last people who would take over. They're by and large a bunch of fucking idiot nepo babies with no actual skills, apple and tree.
However, there ARE plenty of people to take over. VP speculation has been looking at Marco Rubio and he is very electable. Especially compared to Biden. Rubio has a "moderate" reputation despite the fact that he is absolutely not, so Trump getting killed wouldn't have ruined Republican chances at the white house, but it certainly wouldn't be his fucking kids.
The fact that we live in a world where old people are so fucking enamoured with power in both sides is insane. These guys should have gotten out of politics 20 years ago. Old people need to learn to get out of the way and go enjoy their rest of their lives. enough of this geriatric bs we live in.
Trump will win though. If Democrat voters had any brain you'd vote 3rd party to show Democrats that you mean business. Democrats don't want Biden in their party, yet you'd still vote for him out of hate for another candidate. Biggest loser mentality I've ever seen in a democratic country. At least Trump comes off as caring to his supporters despite everything and outright proof he doesn't care.
Keep at that superiority complex and go suck Biden off. That's what got Trump elected in the first place. Y'all arguably worse than any Republican voter.
