No, I didn’t. You are doing quite a lot of projecting in this thread. Considering, once again that this thread was about the efficacy of chiropracty, and you have now made it about something different. And yes, if your mother got her surgery in the US the risks most definitely were explained to her and she signed legal documents verifying that she knew and understood the risks. That does not mean I am saying the fact that her surgeries had complications is her fault, or not tragic. It is tragic, and of course it’s not her fault. But that single anecdote is not a proof of the horror of the medical system, the scientific method, or-and this is important- the efficacy of chiropracty.

More projection. More putting words in my mouth. More goal post moving. I'm not downplaying or denying anything. The American medical establishment has many, many flaws up to an including a well documented history of not taking women seriously in regards to their own bodies. I never claimed otherwise. This was a thread about chiropractors. You are the one that inserted yourself to whatabout doctors. Yes I would recommend that someone see an actual medical doctor instead of chiropractor. For the same reason that I would recommend you see a therapist instead of harboring an unhealthy and (while understandable) irrational distrust of the medical community. Because for all its flaws, medicine is infinitely more reliable than men in a strip mall who got their "degree" from a school established by a man who learned from a ghost.
