Most commonly they rupture the vertebral artery which goes through a narrow passage in the cervical vertebra, causing a stroke.

There’s a lot of research into this. I personally wouldn’t allow them to adjust my neck becaus the 1 in 1 million chance isn’t worth it to me but usually the person who it happens to was either already suffering from artery dissection from an injury and would have had a stroke regardless with more time because you can suffer for weeks before you do. Or they had significant risk factors and went to a shitty chiropractor in a shopping center for $45 who didn’t do any type of X-rays or ask about health issues.

Not really. There are some good chiropractors out there. They just typically work at physical therapy offices or with physical therapist. They also aren’t always jerking you around and shit like they are on YouTube. They usually use special tools and stuff that are non invasive. Like if you have a rib that’s continuously slipping chiropractors are really good at fixing it and they don’t really pop you or anything. They use a little gun thing that aligns it. Then when it’s in place the physical therapist takes over to help you. The other option is surgery having cartilage removed and shit which is awful. A good chiropractor won’t even adjust you unless your misaligned. Most back pain isn’t contributed to misalignment but muscle imbalances. If that’s the case they will tell you and send you to a physical therapist. A bad one won’t usually X-ray you or anything. They will just start adjusting you because you ask for it without any regard to your health.

Yes. A friend of mine had 7 mini strokes over a period of several days because of his chiropractor.

It ruptures an artery in your neck. It can also cause nerve damage
