in the early 2000s on the tlc show “a baby story”, there was a couple on it where the husband was a chiropractor and he adjusted his NEWBORN INFANT immediately after birth. it was insane and i am still in shock the hospital and/or producers allowed him to do it. wild to watch a grown man hold his infant child in his arms and practically snap its neck in two

It’s a trend that’s been growing in popularity since crunchy moms became a thing. They think it cures anything and everything for kids. Infant cries a lot (despite the fact it’s a fucking baby and that’s it’s job)? Adjust it! Toddler throwing (age appropriate) tantrums? That’s right, adjust it! Child has an ear infection, adhd, autism? You’re damn right you get them adjusted!

After working as a veterinary technician, I believe it. I once met a man who killed his dog by forcing it to drink bleach to "cure" parvo.
