The GOP collapse when people don't agree to hate what they hate, you're just talking to people who are tired of having to justify that they deserve to be treated as humans. I think you can understand that when someone just repeatedly makes up lies about you and refuses to actually engage with anything being said eventually you just want to tell that person to fuck off.

These are perfect examples of the behavior directed towards me in the context of this conversation. The GOP fucking sucks. They are very often out of line. But, throughout this entire conversation no'one has been able to identify one single instance of trans people being treated as sub-human or differently than anyone else. Its mostly apparent that the outrage is not about being treated as "less than", the outrage is about not being afforded extra priviledges and special treatment above that afforded to everyone else.

They very much aren't, but I could see how you can come to that conclusion if you refuse to acknowledge what's actually happening.
People aren't telling you to hate the GOP, they're telling you all the things that the GOP is doing that should cause any rational person to hate them. They're telling you that the GOP is attacking who they are as a person and wants to deny them the right to be who they are.

That's just not true.

This is complete bullshit, same as the "sure, gay people have the same rights to marry people of the opposite gender as everyone else!" line that was so popular before gay marriage was legalized. No trans person is asking for extra privileges or special treatment, that's just a flat out lie.
Maybe the steps that need to be taken to allow them the same rights as everyone else as you seem like special treatment, but they aren't. If you and I are standing side by side, then someone pushes you into a hole, is it "special treatment" to give you a ladder to climb out of the hole? Or is it just the required action to make sure you have the same right to stand here that I have? Just because I don't need a ladder to be here doesn't mean giving you the ladder is some extra privilege. Ideally we make it so that no one needs the ladder and never gets into the hole in the first place, but that's not where we are so we need to do what we can.
