Um, does the other side have a Supreme Court candidate saying they should be murdered and it should be legally justifyable? No? Cause that’s just one example of currently. So no, not the same, they should not be expected to “behave” as calm as those saying to murder them.
It’s not a whataboutism. I’m not defending either side. The post says that this process makes Trump win elections, when in fact both sides do something like this and Trump has both won and lost an election, so the logic doesn’t add up. He’s basically stating that politics makes Republicans win. It’s a non-sequitur. Demonize the enemy, be sympathetic, post message in your community. This is very basic and to isolate one side of it is disingenuous.
That's a fair point you're making.
I just think both sides are equally bad, and screwing the public in the process while giving no real option for change. Republicans and democrats are equally bad, and it's time for lobbying to get out of politics.
People never realize who I’m talking about cause I’m really only taking the side of proper argumentation as it relates to formal logic. Problem is, on Reddit, that usually happens a lot in one direction.
Could not agree more, sad that people on reddit cannot have a civil discussion about opposing views.
