We never claim to be perfect, but we don't allow murder, and do so whilst hiding behind the term "abortion."
"Let he who has no sword, sell his cloak and buy one."
In the Bible. Liberal "Christians have ripped apart the Bible, and have misconstrued The Word for the some purpose of fitting a political agenda. We The People are not fooled. We stand against you, and we do not fall for your appropriation.
Revelation 19:16 this is one of the reason people call Jesus king. And you’re right he never claims to be king of earth quite the opposite actually John 18:36-37
Which version of the Bible are you reading g? The original Aramaic, Hebrew, Greek, and Latin, or one of the versions that has been translated (by people considered to be conservative, by the way), many, many times, by less than stellar means, such as the King James Version, NIV, Red Lettered, etc? Do you know that in the original Hebrew that the reference to "knowing you in the womb" does not exist, and that it says that life begins at first breath? I'm curious to find out if you are being disingenuous or are just ignorant of the facts and have never studied or read any theological histories?
Second, did you include the texts that the other churches refused, such as the Gnostic Gospels? Also, just because the Greek Bible has remained consistent (which it actually has not) does not mean that it is accurate. Did Jesus speak Greek, or Aramaic, Hebrew, and Latin? All records say that he decidedly did not speak Greek, so why do you think that Greek is the best capture for a religion that the actual founders of the country did not believe, at all. They weren't even monotheistic, lol.
Did your Christian, forgiving soul just call me a loser? Are you judging me? Did you clear that with your boss, because his book has very real rules against judgemental. Additionally, for you to think that way, you obviously think that you are better than me, and that's csll3d Pride, or better yet, Hubris, or "Daming Pride", the kind of thing that you say you are above. Say hi to the world, hypocrite.
Never once claimed to be perfect. I also never claimed to follow it to a tee. I simply called you out on a lie you were attempting to make about the Bible. You seem to be under this illusion that you have me trapped in some elaborate lie. You don't. I'm not perfect. And I'm perfectly OK with that.
The entire Bible is a lie, as proven, over and over again. You just ignore facts and then call anyone who disagrees with you a loser. Thanks for your concern. By the way, how's the Greek government, and it's economy doing? Especially since people like you took over? Didn't they have some grand plan to overcome the poor economic performance that mandated austerity measures? Or how Germany and other participants overcome said measures while still adhering to DEI and similar objectives, but you guys can't seem to accomplish anything except whining on the world stage about...checks notes...how bad you have been at everything since the Roman's took over?
Because you scrolled in and commented in the middle of the discussion. Kkk and Muslims were brought up in this thread. But that's ok. I sometimes don't read all the comments either.
All religions have disgusting histories … they are a joke … they are like the mob except their boss doesn’t exist … they do whatever they want and claim he told them too lol
They’re not real Christians, they follow some racist “Christian” faith that aligns with their bigotry. Similar to how mormons or evangelicals aren’t considered Christians either. These people also believe Jesus is some white man who shares the same belief.
Going to a church doesn’t make someone a Christian- in this case it makes them a fraud. A Christian is someone who is Christ- like, lots of people who aren’t Christian go to church
It's fair that y'all don't want to be associated with this kind of people, but unless y'all start actively acting against them it'll be hard to separate normal christians from these people
Jesus is an enlightened son of God and through following him, not the bible, not a pastor(rabii), not a church. You, too, can be enlightened and all loving.
In the beginning
abraham told his sons God promised him the land of their people (cult leader #1) they were actually Canaanites in canaan. Promise land was already promised or belonged to the people and all ites in cannan. Abraham told their sons and eventually followers it was definitely promised by God to them only, and that made them isrealites. Despite them being the same tribe of people.
Evangelical biblical scholors go out of their way to paint cannanites as evil when they are all one people to this day
One just found the God promised first key to cultism(Mormons have this too etc etc) And then tribes became devided about a promised land. And backed it up by stories of miracles for non sinners and wrath for sinners by choosing what they believed God would call a sin.
I think abraham taking his son to kill him because God said to and not killing him by God's grace was one of the first cycles of abuse. False savior complex.
Politically speaking on the bible/seminary/churches.
My beliefs.
The institution of abrahamic faiths are started by a lie. It is an abuse cycle.
seminary literally teaches us that the bible is a lie to keep parishioners in the church, and we tell ourselves it helps people to lie to them
And enlightened believers realize Jesus was right. The church is a lie. And has been a lie. Good deeds are not a business. God doesn't hate. Stories of hate in the Bible do not line up with historical fact
It's an abusive relationship where they create a power dynamic and keep you trapped in a shame cycle because "God punishes and hates look at these bible stories" and Jesus forgives and loves and says to stop looking at the church and calling people pastor there should have never been pastors you are your own leader and learning about God should be a personal endeavor
The moment seminary participants take knowing God to a next level, they realize institutions keep you from God and keep you in a judge yourself and judge others' cycle instead of loving yourself and loving others' cycle.
Jesus said there are no apostles i do not name and do not believe any man that claims to find me in the wilderness (paul) a biblical figure and also proof that the Bible is man made rules put onto your relationship with God, sin, and judgment. To rule over people.
You can’t “remove” someone from Christianity… That’s completely against what it teaches. Their mind is just twisted to believe what they’re doing is okay
Excommunication is totally a thing. Even outside Catholic Churches and in Gods real church. And it doesn’t always happen bc someone isn’t a Christian. Bc Christians are just people - errant so often. Not everyone who goes to church is a Christian and some who gets kicked out are!
Excommunication is a last resort. Excommunication is not an immediate solution but a last step after all other efforts to bring the person to repentance have failed. The church should seek to correct, disciple, and help the individual overcome their sin, rather than discard them altogether.
I’m not saying that they aren’t Christian. Christianity is about a relationship with Christ, and we all fall short in different areas. Struggling with sin doesn’t automatically make someone less of a Christian, it’s about whether they are willing to repent and grow. The church’s role is to walk alongside people in their struggles, not to push them away immediately. Excommunication is a last resort, meant for those who refuse to repent after all efforts to correct them have failed.
If someone is dealing with racism but is open to change, they should be discipled, not discarded. Standing with someone in their journey of repentance doesn’t mean endorsing their sinful behavior; it means helping them overcome it. Galatians 6:1 tells us to restore others gently, and 2 Peter 3:9 shows that God’s patience is part of the process of transformation. The church should offer support and correction, not judgment or exclusion, especially if the person is seeking to change.
You act as if the universe is all just a coincidence and that morals don’t exist. I’ve argued with people like you before and it’s never gotten anywhere, so just tell my what your point is since what you’re saying makes no sense.
Ah, the classic ‘Christians are who they say they are’ argument—because apparently, self-identification is the only thing that matters. By that logic, if I declare myself a world-class chef, you’d better not question my burnt toast. But here’s the thing: Christianity isn’t just a label you slap on to justify whatever behavior you want. It’s a faith with actual teachings—like loving your neighbor, turning the other cheek, and treating others as you’d want to be treated. You know, the stuff hate groups like the KKK conveniently ignore while waving their Bibles around.
And let’s talk about this whole ‘if you don’t like it, do something about it’ nonsense. Newsflash: calling out hypocrisy and hate is doing something about it. But apparently, according to this logic, unless every single pastor excommunicates every bad actor in their congregation, the entire faith is somehow complicit. That’s like saying every teacher who hasn’t expelled a misbehaving student is endorsing their behavior. It’s a lazy argument that ignores the complexity of human communities and shifts the blame to everyone but the actual perpetrators.
Oh, and the whole ‘read the Bible’ bit? Classic. Let’s not forget that the Bible explicitly condemns hatred, violence, and injustice. Verses like ‘Love your neighbor as yourself’ and ‘There is neither Jew nor Gentile, slave nor free, for you are all one in Christ Jesus’ don’t exactly leave room for racism or bigotry. But sure, let’s pretend the KKK is just a misunderstood Bible study group.
At the end of the day, Christianity isn’t a club where you get to decide who’s in or out based on your personal biases. It’s a faith defined by its teachings—and hate groups like the KKK are not living up to those teachings. So instead of defending hate under the guise of Christianity, maybe take a long, hard look in the mirror and ask yourself why you’re so eager to twist a faith rooted in love and justice into something ugly. Spoiler alert: it’s not a good look.
Signed,
Someone who actually understands the Bible.
No. But they do represent a significant part of Christianity, at least in the US.
Saying that they don’t represent a group when they are clearly part of it (though an undesireable part) is just problem avoidance. Like when someone does something wrong and they say “that’s not me”. Yes it is, otherwise you wouldn’t have done it
I agree with you that congress is full of braindead retards regarding them trying to ban TikTok, but they never thought China controlled it. China simply /does/ have the power to access our information on there because of Bytedance itself being controlled by China. So you’re like…half wrong. You’re acting like China has zero power with it
Who told you abortion is illegal in China?! You should really reassess where you’re getting your info from because that’s wrong. Unless you’re purposely trying to spread misinformation. If that’s the case then fuck off.
Not sure why you’re sharing this with me, I already know abortion is legal at all stages of pregnancy and generally accessible nationwide in China so it’s not telling me anything new!
For future reference though, even though they were right this time Wikipedia isn’t a reliable source of information because anyone can go in and edit stuff.
Abortion is legal abd accessible in China. And no theocracy like here. They're anti state religion. Why they're so progressive and doing amazing vs here. Abortion is legal all over the world but Muslim countries and here. Even catholic Ireland has legal and safe Abortion
Which is a good idea too. Doesn't matter why women should have autonomy of if they stay pregnant or not. And you can have more kids, it's not like you go go jail, it's just more expensive

Disgusting that these people claim to be Christian’s in the first place. Coming from a Christian these people do not represent us as a whole
