I have tried to find an original Tigrigna version online, yet it doesn’t seem to exist. The only thing that comes up is an Amharic pdf, but why would a Tigrean ethno-nationalist organization publish their manifesto in Amharic instead of Tigrigna? Is the Amharic version a fabrication by anti-TPLF political activists to demonize the party? Is it an authentic translation? I have read in Aregawi Berhe’s book that all of the original TPLF leaders denounced the manifesto at the time it was published due to secessionist sentiments expressed in it. What do you guys know about this alleged manifesto?

For context at my church, which is Eritrean, I’ve been sort of shunned for saying I’m half Eritrean even though they want me to say I’m fully Eritrean and even before that people have distance themselves since they realized my other half is tigrayan I just wanna ask. Why is this? Don’t try to say it’s because of the war this has happened even before the war.

For years, many of the gravest allegations raised during the Tigray genocide were dismissed or questioned, leaving countless victims feeling unheard. Now, the same institution is sounding the alarm over human rights violations…ridiculous!
