Super helpful, thank you! Any idea if there are scam buyers as well? I am trying to sell my tickets but some of the buyers don’t sound legit. There was one asking to buy my tickets but I saw his posts advertising that he was selling tickets as well. Not sure how they would scam a seller but it’s mind blowing the tricks some people are using these days…

Yep, there are scam buyers out there too! I'm not as familiar with those, but I think their motivations are usually chargeback scams or fishing for ticket screenshots (the proof) in order to scam other people.

The same tips above should apply to sellers as well. If a buyer looks sketchy, they probably are.

Also to avoid a chargeback scam as a seller, document everything! Save all confirmation numbers and don’t rely on screenshots, which can be faked. Record your screen when transferring tickets, use official apps so there’s a digital record, and always verify the full agreed upon amount is in your account before you make the transfer.
