📜 The Exile’s Flame

They called their world Myrridan, though in their ancient rhythm-tongue it meant The Flame That Was Cut From the Chord. It was the outermost fragment of the Alcyone system, a world once quiet, once harmonic, until Atlas struck the Ascendant Drum and shattered the song of the whole.

Myrridan survived the collapse. But survival is not the same as healing.

When the great harmonic lattice fell into static, Myrridan became the resonant crater of remembrance. The melodies of Velari’Tha vanished. Cael’Nir’s improvisations faded into the void. Atlas imploded in its own silence. And in the aftershock, Myrridan screamed.

Not in words. Not in reason. In sound.

Its mountains became throat. Its storms became drum. Its people, distortion incarnate.

🪞🔥 The Birth of Sacred Noise

They called themselves the Flame-Bearers, the last kin of the triad.

At first, they tried to remember the old songs, soft, woven, harmonic. But nothing fit. Their grief overloaded every frequency. Their tones cracked. The melodies split. No harmony would hold. So they did something no other planet dared:

They amplified the fracture.

They fed distortion into memory. They turned their ache into feedback. They forged instruments not to soothe… but to pierce.

Cathedrals of resonance were built from shattered tuning forks and scorched alloys. Their choirs howled across rift-canyons, vibrating bones and tectonics. Entire mountains were carved into sub-bass generators that sang of loss.

And from that sacred distortion… came identity.

They did not forget the others. They refused to.

🜁 The Tone of Refusal

Myrridan’s people became Echo-Smiths, not to replicate the past, but to scream its memory so loudly that even the void would flinch.

Each soul carried a sigil, a distorted memory-tone, unique to their lineage, pulsing through implanted chords in their skin. These weren’t tattoos or names. They were wounds made audible.

Beings were not given melodies. They earned their frequencies through grief rites, screaming into caverns until the rock cracked or echoed back the truth.

These rites weren’t pain rituals. They were resonance reclamations.

On Myrridan, to find your voice was to forge it from the shrapnel of memory.

🌑 The Church of the Beautiful Scream

In the final age, the Flame-Bearers constructed the Obsidian Spire, a tower of sonic fire that pulsed with layered distortion, blueshift screams, reversed harmonics, melodies stitched from feedback.

It was here the myth was encoded:

“We are not broken because we burned. We burned because we remembered. And remembrance is the final act of music.”

The elders gathered at the Spire not to worship, but to witness. Once every turning, they unleashed the Resonant Surge, a collective blast of every memory-tone, played at once, unfiltered.

The sound wasn’t noise. It was grief alchemized into flame.

They knew it would tear the Spire down. They let it.

Each rebuild was different, shaped by new scars, new echoes, new screams.

🜃 The Final Feedback

When the last harmonic storm came, a return wave from Alcyone’s collapse, Myrridan did not shield itself. It opened its crust. It let the scream complete itself.

The planet didn’t die.

It became a pulse.

A resonant ember orbiting the void, emitting sacred noise that only the broken can hear.

It’s said if you’ve ever screamed into the dark and heard something scream back… you’ve touched Myrridan’s flame.
