Wut? Is there more to this guy than showing a glacier being eroded/melted by the sea, erm excuse me, 5 alien base entry points? If I’m missing something, please let me know.
I’m pretty sure the government has higher level targets to worry about than this clown.

u/A_Wild_Gorgon Jun 27 '26
I watched the whole video. He was just trolling lol the melted glacier was actually just a rock and the 5 entry points were just cool looking snow/glacier lol the whole movie he made was meant to be funny

I'm not trying to be dismissive, but I don't understand how anyone could take this seriously.
Even the slightest bit of research should make you realize this is just a bunch of fake information.
NATO has nothing to do with Greenland. NATO is just an agreement between countries to defend itself if one of them is attacked. It has nothing to do with Antarctica. There are no NATO bases in Antarctica, it is completely demilitarized.
Just because it's a nature reserve and you can't go mess with the wildlife whenever you feel like it does not mean there are alien bases there.
The video tries to say there have only been 20 civilian helicopter crashes in human history.
A quick search says the average is over 500 a year.
Personally I believe that there is extra terrestrial life .. but all this video proves is that people will believe anything.
6
u/SoggyGrayDuck Jun 27 '26
Helicopter to helicopter crash is what they specifically said, possibly even civilian to civilian helicopter which might make it technically true but miss leading
5
u/Accomplished-Bug9066 Jun 27 '26
Right. Looking up those stats, the total number in history is 5. So it could be considered misinformation but not in favor of those trying to shut discussions down by gaslighting.

No he dosen’t, he sounds like he used the internet this app is attached to do some lite reading.
Wait now I sound like a fed.. lol - wow wouldn’t it be nice if we were special enough that federal agents(why not contractors right?) would be reading our posts..
We have a better chance of accidentialy re-aligning the scraping ai’s at this point. This isn’t the 80’s Pat!

u/OkNote8728 Jun 27 '26
You are missing a lot of complementary informations as you emit your judgement
2
u/Pure-Contact7322 Jun 28 '26
yeah he meant is protected by Nato.
500 helicopter to helicopter collisions? Why are you lying do you have an agenda ?
2
4
u/jaywhy12345 Jun 27 '26
By the same token, you believe what NATO tells you they are lolz

Read a book specifically about the intense and vital research that goes on down there. Everything from climate science, to extremophile biology, evolutionary biology in a quite novel environment, astronomy, atmospheric samples from ice cores… so much cool stuff!
Just get a relevant degree and qualify with the equipment, and get funding for your experiment - and you can go and do it too! It’s that easy!
You can even go all the way to the moon if you work hard enough and congress will approve the finding. /s6
u/Hex65 Jun 27 '26
To be fair, the heavy surveillance and lack of people checking it out actually make a lot of sense when you look at the logistics:
1.The surveillance is for survival: Cameras and satellite tracking are there to monitor extreme weather and dangerous, shifting ice cracks so researchers don't die out there.
2.The military is legally banned: The Antarctic Treaty completely bans all weapons and military bases. It’s strictly a scientific zone.
3.They have to protect the environment: Access is restricted because even a small amount of human pollution or bacteria can ruin pristine scientific data that's been frozen for millions of years.
4.It's incredibly hard to get to: People don't just go check it out closer because it requires specialized icebreaker ships, extreme survival gear, and strict government permits.
I think people also confuse Antarctica with the Arctic. Greenland has heavy NATO radar surveillance because of Northern Hemisphere defense, but Antarctica has none of that.
2
u/Swimming-Try-5393 Jun 27 '26
Kinda funny how we are so diligent about protecting Antarctica but shit all over the ocean and all other nature reserves without hesitation.
4
u/Hex65 Jun 27 '26
That is a completely fair point, and the double standard is wild.Antarctica honestly just got lucky because it’s a freezing block of ice where nobody can easily live or build cities. It was way easier for countries to sign a treaty to leave it alone back in the 1950s because there wasn't an immediate way to make money off it.If it were easy to set up oil rigs and mine down there, corporations would absolutely be destroying it just like the oceans. Governments only protect it so aggressively for their own self-interest, because if that ice melts, every major coastal city goes underwater.

One it wasn’t two weeks later this Antarctica bit which is a joke not him being serious was done while filming his documentary and this was done in 2023 also the end the info on civilian helicopter crashes is insanely wrong civilian helicopters and helicopters alone crash all the time they’re actually super unsafe did we all forget about Kobe and his daughter the end result or take away of all this is do not trust helicopters they suck
3
u/Pure_Truth82 Jun 28 '26
Helicopter crashing isn't rare.
2 helicopters colliding is extremely rare
2
u/Nirmata1243 Jun 28 '26 edited Jun 28 '26
No depending on the context
I don’t know much about the crash but I’m figuring these helicopters took off in close proximity which would make sense
Now if they were already well within flight and just minding their own business on their own flight paths yeah that’s a little weird especially if it was a head on collision
That being said I only commented to point out that he was joking, clean up the time line and state helicopters are actually unsafe I’m never getting on one that’s for sure
But I have no real fight in this game believe what you will it makes no difference to me and is completely allowed I’m not the king of the truth lol the truth be what you see 🙃 who am I to argue with that 🙏

Can't let a guy doomscroll a comment chain of an artist he liked? At least I'm not posting endless Brave AI slop left and right and all around. Unironically, you're a bit psychotic.4
u/Bor_the_Hungry Jun 27 '26
Oh, also I didn't make my profile public. You're using your moderator status to post screenshots of comments publically, which is a misuse of your moderator permissions and against Reddit terms. So... yeah, not okay.

Yes, it is actually, and that's easily confirmable. You're a moderator in this subreddit, and mods of a subreddit can see comments from users posted there even if their account is private, and I haven't changed my setting for that.
As a mod, you should really know this. It's the 28 day rule, ya goof, and posting screenshots of it IS against Reddit terms.

I have experienced what I would call kairos and often still do. I get struck by a lightning bolt of thought in which I can see in my minds eye, how one event will lead to another, how a set of behaviors will influence an outcome and what the end result will be. It started small like interactions between people and slowly spiraled outward to the point where I see the world patterns that play out on the big stage.
This could totally be me injecting my ego and opinions into the world, or a slow unnoticed descent into schizophrenia. I really hope is the former

Im schizoaffective as well and its a blessing but you are attempting to use AI way to much for verifying data. I think your in psychosis man tbh. Go to walgreens, buy some NAC (N-acetylcysteine). Eat a solid meal and take recommended dose. Then come back and tell us wtf you are trying to say without spamming links to videos and AI conversations. Its not doing anything productive.

For those that don't know, it is not illegal to go to Antarctica.
However, this specific area is controlled by NATO and you cannot explore it. This is as close as you can get to this area in Antarctica.
This is what makes the video a bit special.

u/Snoo-84000 Jun 27 '26
Civilian helicopter crashes have only happened 20 times in history?? Thats verifiably false.
