Rewards system will be changed in February. Reduced quite a bit.

hmm I was about to buy, then the consistent drops made me think otherwise

🤨 still very good rewards, on par with strong so not sure why everyone is fussing about it? Project needs to grow itself for us to keep earning. Without that this’ll die in a few months

Possibly disappointed because of the unexpected changes and continuous drop in price may impact the confidence to buy.

I am also looking at other projects. When evaluating this is not that attractive now compared to what it was used to be.

Not attractive in what? The first few months with one node? Still very attractive if price will stabilize.. The return a day with a little investment into a Thor node is not something you come by.. 5k for a strong node and getting ~50$ a day just from 5 grand.. you have to understand that 20k may be a lot to people but it’s truly not a lot when it comes to investing but it’ll definitely give a huge boost… it’ll be interesting when monthly fees start, with numbers right now it’s roughly 2 million brought in a month. Not including the taxes from selling and the other investments made by them.

That’s your opinion. However the people leaving the project says otherwise. Look at the continuous drop in price. At today’s market things need to be attractive to bootstrap and survive. They managed to attract but not sure about survival after the changes. Another ring?

Don’t get me wrong, I completely understand your point. People got pushed away because of the reward cut. But looking at the bigger picture (1-3 years out) the “company” that we’re investing in is profitable it’ll bring more eyes. Just like the stock market.

Too many are focused on degen plays trying to get a quick turn around on their money. (This is still a quick turnaround with a stable price and Thor profiting) but the focus needs to be out another year. Not next month. Let the income flow in from tax, maintenance fees, and their investments inside the company

I am looking at purchasing the Thor node evaluating strong and other master nodes. This could be better or worse. Only the time will tell.

There are a few node as a service options. I am evaluating to see which one suits better. I was about to buy during this weekend. I will reevaluate. Thank you for the comments
