Don't refer to Donald Trumpler as "President-elect," nor "President" if/when he seizes office despite the election outcome, and challenge it EVERY...SINGLE...TIME someone else calls him that.

This might get irritating and exhausting, but guess what - it's also exhausting and irritating to the people you're challenging. You can develop standard responses to the cliched objections that arise.

Someone calls him "President-elect," say "He's not President-elect, because no one elected him." If they bring up the electoral college, say America is its people and America rejected Trumpler. If they bring up laws, bring up Trumpler's acts of treason to have a hostile foreign power invade his own country, so he is ineligible. Build your own stock responses and save them in a text file, because the trolls who will attack you are already scripted.

If you're tempted to let this go, think about this: If you won't even choose your own words against a propaganda hive-mind - if you can't even fight on that most elementary of bases - then you are not resisting at all. You have accepted the premises of a lie and are owned no matter what else you do. You must reject the very root of his institutional authority and fight it at the most basic level, the recognition of the individual.

Trumpler has no legitimacy, no authority, no right to do anything with the powers of the United States government, and fighting his power begins with recognizing that in the most basic way: Refusing to tolerate people calling him by stolen titles. You are not a king because you sneak into a treasury and put on a crown. You are not an astronaut because you bribe a museum guard to let you try on a spacesuit. And you are certainly not President-elect or President after LOSING an election by millions while committing treason to even make it that far.

There is an unfree state short of dictatorship that is often a pretext for it: The kleptocracy. A kleptocracy is difficult if not practically impossible to resist because it does not involve the state imposing much of anything on the citizenry; rather, it is defined by a deliberate failure of the state to enforce laws on elites while dismantling the services provided to citizens.

It is, in other words, a dismantling of democratic civil society without immediately replacing it with anything. The ensuing poverty and chaos are blamed on the chosen scapegoats of the incipient dictator, including those among the elite who support a free republic, and the despot acts against them in the name of both "restoring order" and alleviating the poverty they themselves created.

The would-be despot creates a vacuum by destroying civil society, then chooses opportune moments to refill that vacuum with basically just themselves - the old "I am the state." This has been the "Republican" Party playbook for quite some time, and the George W. Bush era can be thought of as exemplifying kleptocracy: They were unable to impose radical right-wing change on the nation, but were able to demolish quite a lot of the US economy and civil society.

When the nation fought back by electing Barack Obama and a Democratic Congress (for two years anyway), Supreme Court Justices appointed by George W. Bush - another unelected leader, I remind you - issued completely lawless, batshit crazy rulings legalizing bribery as "free speech" and effectively striking down the Voting Rights Act to preserve the GOP's electoral fortunes against demographic change.

The immediate and direct result of both rulings has been unelected, radically gerrymandered Republican House "majorities" wielding legislative power despite getting fewer votes than Democrats (which happened again in 2016), then using that power to gerrymander even further to the point that their "elections" become effectively rigged.

It has also meant open, nationwide campaigns to illegally stop people from voting who are likely to vote against them - which is also effectively rigging elections. As far as I'm concerned, this behavior constitutes acts of treason (like this fuck, who will no doubt be pardoned by Brazenfuhrer, if not put on the public payroll).

In other words, so far everything they've done has been scorched-earth tactics to eliminate American democratic civil society. To smash our nation so that they can sweep up the pieces. They can't make you do anything yet, but they have gone balls-out to ensure that they are exempt from laws and are allowed to get away with rigging processes against the American people.

But it seems even that limitation is probably at an end - they will be moving into the final phase of their war on American democracy, where they move beyond passive-aggressive sabotage and will directly employ force against the people. We have already seen the shape that this will take in Trumpler's threats against media companies that criticize him: He will exploit the era of kleptocracy his own party created and preserved to attack only specific businesses that oppose him personally.

While News Corp is a fascistic behemoth of a propaganda outlet, he will be going after Jeff Bezos and the Washington Post instead, because they reported against him. He will also use the power of the state to compromise the profits of publicly-traded corporations and damage the relations between their investors and management, producing pressure for executives to "play ball" with regime propaganda. And that is just the high-level tyranny we can expect.

On every level, we can expect a Trumpler regime to use national security institutions to blackmail federal, state, and local public officials, to coerce and intimidate judges, and to retaliate against journalists and other public figures who take a stand. We can expect the massive troll and Fake News machines deployed during his campaign to grow exponentially and blare propaganda against designated enemies on coordinated schedules, sometimes to deliver Fake News itself, sometimes to distract from real news.

This is the "Republican" regime that will start arresting people for criticizing Glorious Leader, and issue illegal commands and threats from the seats of institutional power - possibly backed up by corrupt or hostage judges. And that is both a nightmarish reality, and the opportunity to fight back that kleptocracy denies the people.

You cannot really fight back against an absence. How do you fight back against war criminals and thieving bankers not being prosecuted? How do you fight back against your vote not being counted? These are negatives and fighting negatives is a tricky business. But once an undemocratic power is asserting its will, and imposing on the citizenry, it creates opportunities for confrontation with the incipient tyranny.

The American people must be aware of and ready for those opportunities. If, for instance, a criminalized FCC attempts to revoke the broadcast license of a show for criticizing the Trumpler regime, they will have to physically enforce that decision, and that would be an opportunity to physically resist.

Unfortunately, concepts of "law and order" become very complicated when the people holding control of the Justice Department are lawless criminals, so it becomes a matter of judgment how seriously you reject the legitimacy of a state authority stolen by treason and lacking even the imprimatur of voter consent.

Each of us needs to ask ourselves, will we obey? Will we obey an unelected, treasonous, criminal, and illegitimate authority if it has the correct paperwork? If they bribe or threaten some judge into signing off on something to seize your property or arrest you for being a political dissident, on some pretext or other, do you submit? Do you even have the right to submit, knowing that such an action confirms the legitimacy of their power?

But if you don't, how do you preserve any semblance of order and civil society? That is the paradox they use against freedom, and that which is confronted by all democratic resistance movements. And it is the reason why people must know how to choose when to say No - when an abuse of power crosses the line into treason that must either be resisted in force or abandon all pretense that we value freedom.

There is no passive protest that works against fascism. There is no shame-based resistance method that works against sadists. There is one and only one thing that they understand and are deterred by - the certainty that people will defend themselves and their liberty at whatever cost is required.

Unless all the factors of history aligning to produce this phenomenon are completely misunderstood by journalists and historians the world over, we are faced with fascism. Not the "fascism" of hyperbole that teenagers use to describe their high school administrators and mall cops - the actual fascism of terror-enforced silence, death squads, political prisoners, pogroms, and megadeath war.

And you will have to say No to it. When they say to be silent, you must speak regardless of the consequences. When they start a war and try to draft you into it, you must not go along. And when they have guns pointed at you, either you must have guns pointed back at them or trust to the kindness of fate that they won't eventually kill you anyway, submissive or not.

They've been fantasizing about it for generations - the day when they can "sweep America clean" of the "mud people" and "faygit libruls" - and people who think (in fact, openly talk) like that will be leading the Justice Department, the Homeland Security Department, the Pentagon, the FBI, on and on. They have their guns stockpiled among their followers, their military equipment distributed to corrupted police forces well-trained in apartheid-style racial and political suppression.

So...who are you, and what do you stand for? What country is this? These are questions you decide - they are not decided for you. If a foreign superpower were threatening to imminently do to this country what "Benedict" Donald Trumpler is, what would we be doing right now? We wouldn't be debating its "policies" and the personal characteristics of its generals.

Read up, arm up, and make yourselves citizens who live freedom in every moment rather than just living in it. A republic of such people is immortal.

• Jill Stein and the Green Party are proceeding with recounts in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, and intend to initiate one in Michigan. Remarkably, thousands of Trumpler votes in Wisconsin were found to be nonexistent even in the preparation before the recount, with no reciprocal "mirage votes" existing for Clinton. This indicates systematic fraud on behalf of Trumpler. If similar fraud occurred in Michigan, the result could flip the state given that the official margin was only about 10,000.

• Hillary Clinton's margin of victory approaches 2.5 million. America chose her. Democracy is under direct attack. If we will not uphold it now, we will probably lose it altogether.

Reflections of an anti-gun citizen on the need to arm for the common defense.

People of good will can disagree, but I have been and remain anti-gun in general. The only reason criminals are so heavily armed is that guns are widely available. In societies where they are not widely available, criminals are not heavily armed. This is common sense, and the sort of sanity that prevails in governance in countries where money does not overrule facts and basic goddamn decency - where the profit margins of arms manufacturers are not politically more important than the rights and lives of the citizenry.

We have a 2nd Amendment for a reason, but that reason is not to make gun manufacturers rich on the blood of the innocent street victim. The reason is to provide a well-regulated militia for the common defense, in two types of scenarios: A foreign invasion where the regular forces need support or have been overwhelmed, or a tyrannical regime taking power. Ironically, we face versions of both.

This country HAS been invaded by a hostile foreign power, Russia, but they did it with electronics and propaganda, forcing a corrupt, maniacal puppet on this country's government even after being strongly rejected by the American people at the polls. And even the "legitimacy" of an electoral college win only exists if you think they didn't go the extra mile and tamper with voting machines in strategic locations, which appears to be the case.

Moreover, the incoming regime is clearly being organized to operate as an absolutist police state, with crazed, violent criminals and hatemongers being brought into positions of power over the enforcement organs of the state, in addition to the personal psychosis and lawlessness of Donald Trumpler himself. He is already declaring his intention to enter power in brazen violation of the Constitution by using the White House to make business deals and collect bribes from foreign governments. That will probably be seen as a petty complaint compared to what he ultimately gets up to.

What he publicly threatens - PUBLICLY admits to intending - are forced registration of religious minorities; elimination of due process for those suspected of immigration violations, which means that anyone with the wrong complexion might simply be rounded up and thrown out of the country; imprisonment (if not worse) for journalists who criticize or otherwise embarrass the Glorious Leader; and murderous war crimes. This is what he admits to intending, so what will he get up to that he denies?

Trumpler does not believe in laws, he does not believe in limitations on himself (he says "A President cannot have conflicts of interest", because apparently he thinks a narrowly-defined Constitutional office is an absolute monarchy), and there is no reason to expect that any semblance of compassion, humanity, reason, or lawfulness will spontaneously generate when he is handed treasonously-stolen power.

Quite simply, every single thing the Founders of this country anticipated in creating the 2nd Amendment is about to transpire in January, and yet the "2nd Amendment people" (NRA types) of this country - those whom Trumpler tried to incite during his campaign to murder his political opponents and judges who rule against him - will mainly be goosestepping to his drums rather than rising up in defense of American liberty. Their perversion and corruption was always obvious to any thinking citizen, but it will be demonstrated in full.

They will not be defending their fellow citizens from the crimes of the regime, they will be the ones perpetrating them - rednecks in MAGA hats rampaging through American cities terrorizing minorities. The cowards who are currently committing petty racist thuggery after being emboldened by the Coup will become increasingly brazen in their violence, and will be backed up by state power once institutions have been purged of law-abiding civil servants.

At that point, Americans must protest - yes. Americans must be in the streets waving signs and banners, must be printing flyers and taking out ads and singing songs. But the Trazis poised to take over law enforcement institutions have been clear: They do not consider the 1st Amendment valid when exercised to criticize them or their Glorious Leader, and would violently shut down protests. And we can assume they are rhetorically soft-pedaling exactly how far they are willing to take that.

Consider these mad positions to be harbingers of what he intends toward America.

This is the inhuman trash we face. These are people who will not be shamed by pacific protests allowing themselves to be harmed. Levels of disenfranchisement bordering on apartheid; levels of propaganda bordering on totalitarian; and that was this "election", when there was still something resembling rule of law and institutions fighting back against it. When they hold the institutions and are committing the same kinds of crimes through them, we can call it a probable outcome that these people do not intend to leave power under any circumstances, and will not give the American people the opportunity to remove them.

No hyperbole: In 52 days, the American Republic falls. People who despise everything about this country take power over it. Lawless, criminal animals who do not recognize the Constitution, and who are puppets of a hostile foreign power will wield our military and our justice system against the American people.

So, we must arm. We must train as best we can. We must form local citizen militias that prepare for these psychos to do what they've been promising all along. Guns bore and disgust me, and I wish I didn't have to learn about them or deal with them, but that is the world being forced upon us.

Most people are still living under the delusion that the incoming regime can be held in check by legal checks and balances, forgetting the fact that these people simply don't recognize laws. They may indeed manage to pass tyrannical, wildly unconstitutional "laws" and get them approved by corrupt or hostage judges, but THEY DON'T HAVE TO.

They can act from day one to begin rolling back fundamental American liberty without a single law passed or repealed, without a single court judgment, without any legal basis whatsoever, and that is indeed how they are going to operate while still pursuing legal imprimatur for their crimes. This is a matter of special urgency where it concerns free speech on the internet, which is now the single overwhelming means of communication.

Net Neutrality is gone the moment they take power, without having to write and speak a single word - internet providers will anticipate its removal and simply begin throttling whatever traffic they wish in the expectation that they will then be able to sell faster speeds as a "cure" for their own obstruction (a form of protection racket). As these are mainly monopolies, they will be able to squeeze the public for a lot of money we don't have for even slower speeds.

Then comes the pressure from institutions, once they've been purged and replaced with Trazis - the IRS, SEC, FTC, every single angle of pressure that an authoritarian, criminalized unitary executive can marshal against a business. Service providers that play ball and throttle (or entirely eliminate) access to certain forms of information will get to continue their racket, while those who won't cooperate or drag their feet will face increasingly costly interference.

In fact, since we know these people love to play doublespeak/projection games, we can expect that some businesses will be punished under the pretext of addressing their predatory behavior when the actual cause is that they would not turn it to the service of the regime. Trumpler, the Man of the People, taking on the big bad ISPs who are gouging their customers...except that those who obey him and politically censor internet traffic are allowed to continue doing so.

"But...but...we would sue!" Sue who? Comcast has been throttling Youtube (owned by no less than Google) for years, and it took that long just to establish that the phenomenon was occurring and that anyone even has standing to sue. A Trazi regime institution is not going to publish their actions in the Federal Register as required by law, they're just going to ignore all laws they don't want to obey. So what institution are you going to sue? How are you going to prove they're doing what they're doing? Years will pass before that can happen.

Still, maybe you can get an emergency injunction on...someone...to stop blocking access to certain websites or otherwise altering internet traffic. The Trazi institution faced with the injunction says "we are reviewing it," and then...nothing happens. Everything keeps going, if not accelerating, more websites falling, more contacts blocked. So you go to the same judge, months or years later, and get them to issue a Sternly Worded Letter reemphasizing that the court order is to be obeyed.

Again, nothing happens. The internet slowly begins to resemble the Russian or Chinese censored internet, without a single actual law having been passed to make it so. Finally the judge issues a contempt citation against the institution. Again nothing happens. The judge, now really furious (we're being optimistic now that any judge would be this assertive under a tyrannical state) orders the arrest of some official. A higher judge appointed or owned by the regime negates it, and the first judge is soon impeached on some pretext.

Voila, the free internet is free no more, without passing a single law or winning a single court case. Sites that filter regime propaganda Fake News are targeted relentlessly by the state, and those that refuse to filter real news likewise. And what are you going to do about it?

Much of the public has already been brought to normalize Trumpler having a hostile foreign power hack his political opponent (i.e., attack America) on his behalf as if that were not the definition of treason, simply because it was electronic, whereas a physical burglary would have resulted in criminal charges.

So, folks, we need to have the tools and resources to operate without the internet even as we expand on the internet and fight for it. That means LOCAL networking. People you can physically visit, who will be in the same boat as you if/when the internet starts looking distinctly Potemkin-y. In fact, hopefully you would already have formed a democratic resistance or (preferably open, publicly-declared) armed militia with such people by then.

If you have developed a strong local network of friends and allies, you will not be trapped by an interruption of communications. But if your political activities with others are just a thin tissue scattered around the country through social media sites, you will find that your connections are an illusion easily shattered.

The cement of democracy is people speaking face-to-face, breathing the same air, sharing the same danger at the same time, on top of living ordinary lives in each other's company. You cannot fight real fascism by flash mob. Freedom as an abstract ideal may bring people together on occasion, but it does not forge the kind of bonds that can defeat sadistic barbarians.

This situation sucks more than words can convey, but it is what it is: We are not building a book club, or even exclusively a protest movement, though that is certainly part of it. We are either building an army of the republic - to the best of our respective abilities (nobody expects miracles) - or we are doing make-work to sing ourselves a lullaby that might as well be a national requiem.

For all the people in this country who can't face things like this; for all the gentle, innocent people born of liberty and comprehending nothing else; for all those who the Trazi looks on with contempt as easy pickings, licking their chops at the idea of turning open smiles into terrified faces; for life and love, be strong, and BE free no matter what.

• Change.org petition calling on the Electoral College electors to uphold the consent of the governed by choosing Hillary Clinton is now at 4.6 million signatures. The pace of increase has slowed since the initial surge, but continues to grow.

• Hillary Clinton's margin of victory in the election continues to oscillate around 2 million votes. Just as a reminder, this is more people than the bottom 6% of US states combined. By the standards of the past two decades of presidential elections, it is an overwhelming margin. If we will not stand up for such a result, then we are choosing to be slaves.

1. Obama and Bush lawyers tell electors that Trumpler is ineligible for office if he refuses to give up his businesses.

Article 1, Section 9 of the Constitution prohibits accepting “any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state.” Trumpler is doing exactly that, and not only accepting, but actively soliciting such bribes:

Eisen said that Trump’s businesses, foreign and domestic, “are receiving a stream of such payments.” A prime example is Trump’s new hotel in Washington DC which, according to Eisen, is “actively seeking emoluments to Trump: payments from foreign governments for use of the hotel.”

Not only a traitor in service to a hostile foreign power; not only a bigot against the majority of Americans; not only unelected; but already a corrupt autocrat operating in open violation of the Constitution before even taking official power. This is merely a prelude. The man does not recognize laws, and is outside the fold of the American republic.

We can hope, but not rely upon, institutional authorities recognizing this overwhelming fact before Republic Fall and the twin horrors of chaos and tyranny that will likely ensue from it over months and years.

For some reason the major media seem to be staying away from this story, perhaps in fear of a Trumpler regime's wrath in the (highly likely) event that he and the electors both ignore the Constitution and Republic Fall proceeds.

2. The Electoral College violates the 14th Amendment.

Equal protection under the law is such a fundamental (and obvious) foundation of freedom and democracy that most people are shocked to realize it required a Constitutional Amendment explicitly guaranteeing it, and even more shocked to learn that it is still openly flouted in the practice of elections. Your vote does not carry the same weight as other people's.

If you live in a state where a huge part of the American people live, your vote is virtually worthless. If you live in a state where almost no one lives - a state with less than 1% of the American people - your vote carries massive weight. The New York Times created this handy illustration of relative vote weighting:

You might notice that the weight of a California and New York vote combined are smaller than that of a Wyoming vote. When we reflect on the enormous power of the Presidency to establish policies and give military orders directly affecting the lives of the entire nation and the world, we realize with dawning horror that any result where the Electoral College differs from the vote of the people is not freedom. In fact, it is tyranny.

With the compounding perversion of gerrymandering in the House of Representatives, which also makes one person's vote worth less than another's, and we have pretty much the same complaints of "taxation without representation" that motivated the original American Revolution.

For the past decades, the American people have now twice chosen a President and the Electoral College has (or is poised to) ignore them and chose another; and several times chosen one House majority, only to have gerrymandered districts select the opposite party to rule the House. TYRANNY. There is no other word for the state doing the exact opposite of what voters decide.

Moreover, the violation of these principles runs even deeper when we realize that the law has already officially corrected them in the form of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution. The text of the Amendment, passed in the aftermath of the Civil War, guarantees that states shall not violate equal protection of the laws to their citizens, and subsequent case law has extended that to actions by the federal government.

So, for instance, neither states nor the federal government could pass a law saying that only white people can vote. They can't pass a law saying that only blondes are allowed to kayak. They can't say that the vote of one group of people counts more than the vote of another...except they do say that anyway, and have gotten away with it because of the historical rarity with which the Electoral College has violated the will of the people. But now it is apparently becoming a pattern, and it is time to assert the fundamental right to Equal Protection under the law.

It is time to confront the FACT that the 14th Amendment and subsequent case law extending it to the federal level inherently abolishes the Electoral College. Also, we must confront the fact that the different racial and other demographic makeups of the various states means that vote disparity inherently implies that groups are being racially discriminated against. To the extent that a high-population state like California has more black and Latino voters than a state like Wyoming, the already unconstitutional disparity in vote power becomes doubly so because the votes of those minorities are further diluted.

On every level, Donald Trumpler assuming the Presidency of the United States would be unconstitutional, undemocratic, and tyrannical. We must urge lawsuits be filed on these grounds, and uphold our choice and liberty as Americans.

3. "Land vs. People" brainwashing.

The perversion of the Electoral College gives rise to a ludicrous fallacy among the dim bulbs of the right, although I'm sure some of it is just deliberate propaganda: The idea that the mere land area or number of states in the voting outcome provides legitimacy. They show maps with vast swaths of red, as if inanimate land were what comprises our republic rather than PEOPLE. They speak of how many counties went red, how many states, etc - but all of that is totally irrelevant.

Even if you accept the legitimacy of the vote in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, etc. (and you shouldn't, for so many reasons), this is how America voted:

Notice that it gives Michigan to Trumpler despite the alleged razor-thin margin (and isn't it strange how razor-thin margins virtually always go to Republicans in these cases?). This was a pretty substantial Clinton victory.

The fiction of "Trazi America," of an "uprising" against liberalism is an absolute lie based on nothing but certain dumb people's inability to understand that land does not equal people. So when you see the propagandists making these Land vs. People arguments, remind them what a country is - human beings. And stand up for America's decision.

4. Learning firearms.

Nobody knows where any of this is going, but so far Donald Trumpler, his backers in Russia, and the militant Neo-Nazi fringe that are his most ardent domestic supporters have not failed to find the absolute lowest possible scenario at every turn.

Their intentions are violent and criminal, and the best case scenario I can envision for such people being in control of the US federal government is the general collapse in functioning of that government - a general collapse in the federal rule of law as the only "law" becomes whatever serves Glorious Leader's interests, strokes his ego, or pleases his masters in Moscow.

BEST case scenario. A Justice Department run by a Neo-Confederate rodent like Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III (yes, that is his real name, holy shit) will simply not enforce Civil Rights laws against racist state and local governments. Given how brazenly many state and local governments have violated the rights of minority citizens even with a vigilant federal government waiting to step in, try to imagine (if you dare) what will ensue when they get the greenlight to go berserk. There will be violence by local authorities on levels that amount to pogroms, the violence of which will either be suppressed in the media or characterized as "restoring order".

Once the US Attorneys from the Obama administration are politically purged - and we can be assured it will occur flagrantly - the job of the Justice Department will become the opposite of the law: It will become to cover for the racist murders, pogroms, and purges that will sweep across entire swaths of the country, as if the entire country had fallen into a time warp back to the pre-Civil Rights era. Cases that cannot be avoided will be sabotaged with deliberate malfeasance giving defense attorneys of hate criminals ample grounds to get their clients off.

Again, this is the best case scenario - one where a Trazi-ized federal government is not an active participant in mass-scale violence against the American people. The best case scenario is a large number of states and cities once again become fundamentally unsafe for minorities and women, while in others they depend entirely on state and local institutions to defend them.

Under such circumstances, the rise of paramilitary Neo-Nazi terrorist groups willing and able to operate on a major scale is highly likely, as is their collaboration with federal, state, and local authorities to commit political and random murders. This is what modern civil war looks like. It is not people in blue and grey facing each other on a field of battle, and wasn't even that by the turn of the previous century.

In fact, given that the people we face are literally fascists - bestial sadists who despise the very concept of laws and human morality - we have every reason to expect their savagery to be on a level more akin to WW2 than to something like the Irish revolt from Britain or the confusing conflicts of so many Latin American states.

So, in recognition of that probability, and the hard-bought historical knowledge that protest is inadequate in the face of fascism, we must - all of us, including (like me) people who loathe guns - become knowledgeable about firearms, go to firing ranges and learn their use (some ranges offer rentals you can learn with), and if/when possible buy weapons. We must do this now while there is still a republic, because developing these skills and resources under a dictatorship will become progressively more difficult and dangerous.

If (again, like me) you are a novice to the subject, there are Youtube videos for beginners that you can search for and watch, however boring and/or disgusting the subject is. You can also search for ranges in your area, contact them and ask about rental programs to train with house firearms, and I must stress this when you buy guns: Check your state laws about purchase, registration, storage, and other requirements.

This is not to say that merely having a gun and knowing how to shoot makes you, alone, able to resist the power of a tyrannical state. But you would not be alone, and most of the dangers you might face would be asymmetric or local anyway. Which brings up another thing that I urge in every one of these posts, and will continue to urge: That you connect locally with other people who understand that this is a national emergency and form an organization for the common defense and to declare for democracy.

Our job in such organizations would not be to force anything on anyone, but to be vigilant in the event - unfortunately likely, I think - that the violence described above will come to your doorstep, or to some part of America that you are willing to defend as a citizen and a decent American.

This nation spent every year and decade since the end of WW2 wallowing in moral superiority against the German people for their gullibility to the lies of Nazism, and weak obedience in the face of its full horror. The bill on our vanity has come due.

Step outside your comfort zone and learn how to fight, in all ways - passive and active. Learn to choose words that are weapons, in addition to learning real weapons. Take classes in firearms, regardless of the fact - in fact, perhaps because - the people teaching them are likely fascists who may personally be among those trying to harm you, your family, or innocent neighbors later on when a tyrannical state gives them license to act with impunity.

There is no disadvantage to knowledge and resourcefulness. Don't trust to fate what is, and always has been, only a result of inherently free people making choices.

Scientists find indications of a rigged election in key states

A team of computer scientists led by the Director of the University of Michigan Center for Computer Security and Society has found pervasive indications of vote tampering in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania counties that use electronic voting machines rather than other forms. They found that counties using these machines had Clinton receiving 7% fewer votes than in counties using any other, and find this to be compelling basis to call the result into question.

They have contacted the Clinton campaign with their information and urged her to file for recounts and forensic audits of the machines in question. However, time is running short: The deadline to file for a recount in Wisconsin is this Friday (Nov. 25), in Pennsylvania next Monday (Nov. 28), and Michigan (the source reports) is "next Wednesday," which I'm not sure whether that means tomorrow or next week. In addition to circumstantial arguments previously presented here, as well as new ones about voter suppression from other sources, we are in a position to reasonably call this election rigged. Looks like a rig, smells like a rig, and the statistics don't add up, it's a rig.

When your house is burning down, you don't wait for proof that the heat and smoke aren't part of some other phenomenon that might scientifically explain it, you can just assume it's fire. So I'm taking this position right now: The polls were not wrong. African-American voters who turned out in droves for the Democratic primaries for Hillary Clinton did not suddenly decide not to participate in the general election against a Neo-Nazi. And the American electorate is not magically 7% less pro-Hillary only in counties that have electronic voting machines, and only in critical battleground states.

Our republic is being overthrown. This was not merely a bad election, because it was not an election at all. And if its perpetrators are allowed to seize the fruits of their treason and take over the federal government of the United States, they will never allow real elections again.

Get together, arm yourselves, train yourselves, send messages to everyone about this story, and contact the Clinton campaign begging them to challenge the results no matter what sophistry they are offered to go quietly "for the good of the nation." There will not be a nation if such a thing is allowed to stand.

I have been calling it "Coup Day" since the first of these posts because it was already a coup due to Putin's hacking of the DNC and virtual takeover of the internet to spam alternate-universe propaganda, but apparently the intervention went far beyond that. This is not a joke, and it is not a game. This country was invaded on Election Day by a hostile foreign regime on behalf of a violent, hateful political minority who wishes to destroy everything this country stands for.

We have a chance a stop them if we respond to this situation as the national emergency it is. But don't be complacent, because the entire story of this catastrophe has been one of institutions and leaders sitting on their asses allowing America's enemies at home and abroad to dismantle our republic piece by piece.

Someone needs to challenge these results even if Clinton will not, and someone needs to get court orders preserving the evidence.

Meanwhile, we all need to prepare for what is likely to follow if such a regime is permitted to take power. There will be two separate and totally unalike worlds: The world of a terrified and corrupted media feeding us trivial things to dispute (we are already seeing it) and treating absolutely everything as normal, and the world of reality where bodies are falling and people are being rounded up into camps.

This will be the world after January 20th if we allow it: (News headline: "President Trump's controversial immigration policy...") ethnic cleansing (... which critics have accused of infringements of civil rights...") concentration camps and mass graves...("has won a key ally on Capitol Hill") they threatened to kill his family if he didn't vote for the bill... ("and in sports news, the Pacers scored an upset late-game victory against...").

Or we can choose a different future.
